Thank you to Jonathan for this bottle.

This beer pours a light bodied dark, burnt dark copper in color with a slight off white lacing. The nose is sweet and malty with plenty of cinnamon and nutmeg with just a touch of brandy. For being barrel aged, there isn't much alcohol at all. The flavors are big and creamy. There is a lot of spice but they may have been necessary to take away from barrel character. There is a lot going on. The pumpkin aspect is in pumpkin spice latte territory. It drinks very smoothly with mild carbonation. I enjoy this beer a lot. It is both different and true to style. I love its barrel aged. I couldn't recommend this enough.

Tap

Pours hazy reddish brown, ring of yellowish head.

Smells of fresh pumpkin, sweet potato, brown sugar, and graham cracker.

Flavor is of rich pumpkin pie, sweet potato, cinnamon, nutmeg, pecan, allspice, brown sugar, graham cracker, honey, oak, and brandy. Roughly in that order.

Full syrupy body, stinging carbonation on the roof of the mouth. Warms going down.

Stellar sipper of a pumpkin beer, boozy and very rich. Drinks very slow, but a real treat. One of the best pumpkin beers I've had. A must try for pumpkin fans who like big beers.

thick bodies with lots of carbonation, coats the tongue nicely

Absolutely delicious. On draft. Poured a dark brownish red color. No head as they filled the beer to the brim of the glass. Strong aromas of nutmeg with a touch cloves. Does not smell like a pumpkin pie but seriously some kind of festive desert. Also light notes of brandy. Upon drinking, taste a ton of nutmeg. Like a liquid desert. The nutmeg comes in, then burnt sugar and maybe nuts. The nutmeg is so prominent yet not so spicy. It finished with brandy with some warmth from the alcohol. While I do not taste pumpkin, this is quiet possibly the best pumpkin beer I tasted.
