This American Wheat Ale pours a lazy, hazy golden color. The aroma is enhanced by our fruity house ale yeast and its fresh-baked bread flavors, which perfectly balance the Cascade hop addition.

On tap at the brewery. Good marketing but this is an american sour wheat. Not so drinkable. Not as big a head as I expected.Sweetish malty aroma. Not as good as it smells.Citrus hops do not save it. Apparently many people do not like this and so a Belgian wit is available.

I had this on tap at the Bryant Lake Bowl in May, 2012.
L: It pours clear gold under a ΒΌβ white foam cap.
S: There are wheat aromas but it also smells a little skunky.
T: Has wheat and hop flavors β not big fruit or if there is any the skunkiness masks it out. The hops are a little harsh. F: medium body and a little above on the carbonation.
O: This is from a keg and the flavor and aroma faults are more light struck than you would get with contaminated beer lines. Tastes like a process problem.

Had on Draft at a Wisconsin Curling Club. Well actually had many pitchers of it. I am a Wheat Beer fan so I did enjoy the Monkey.

Sampled yesterday afternoon on 11/22/14. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a handle-glass stein.
Pours a golden-yellow in color with a small white head. Some spotty lacing is seen when sipped. The aroma is what would be excepted which is of sweet wheat grains for the most part. Pretty much the same for the taste with a very light dry finish. Different than other similar brews and close to the 'Goose Island '312 urban Wheat'. Lighter-bodied with perfect carbonation. Overall, this is a decent brew.
