From BeerAdvocate Magazine Volume II, Issue V:
Huge pillowy off-white head forms from a normal pour, and the hops have a say in all of this as the retention is spectacular. Weathered copper color with a perfect clarity. Smells of pine, mint, hemp oil, lemongrass and blonde tobacco from the hops ... not much from the malt which screams IPA. Medium body seems a tad thicker from the hop oil on the palate that creates this deep smoothness. Surprisingly, not a ton of bitterness, which is nice, as the complex hop flavor dominates throughout with thick herbal, faint pine, grapefruit peel, crushed hemp seeds and mint. The malt character tried to get a taste in edgewise and succeeds by a pinch with a clean and sweet biscuit tone. All of that is smacked down by the hops again. Finishes slightly bitter with a long road of hop flavor that just sticks to the palate.
This IPA outshines most as it drops a load of flavor yet keeps the bitterness in check so you can actually taste the beer rather than your taste buds being numbed by excessive amounts of alpha acids, the bitter oil from the hops. Hopheads need to seek this beer out.

Poured into becker pint glass. Slightly cloudy yellow-orange with a thick dense white head that isn't going anywhere. Leaves tons of lacing as it (very) slowly fades. Smells of all hops, mostly sweet fruity ones. Taste is very clean and crisp, with clear crackery malt but lots of hop flavor too, although sans the bitterness. A delicious take on the style, hoppy but not palate-destroying.

Perhaps my bottle from the sample pack was not up to snuff.
My iPa was bland, not iPa like at all compared to other reviews.
It poured ok, nice amber color, no big head just tan , not much other than spotted lace.
Aroma of pine, citric hop though mild.
Taste bland for an iPa. No big hop bite but rather malty and thin.
Overall if I can find another single or even on tap I'll try again but based on what I've had, not buying 6 of these.
