perfect location right at the top of main street in park city. tiny cozy feel inside, but apparently there is a bigger open area upstairs. totally uncrowded on a monday afternoon around 1pm. bartender was friendly, but wouldnt do sample tasters for us because of state law (did not have this problem in other pubs). enjoyed the polygamy porter and was intrigued by some of the other selections. food looked good, but we didnt eat. little shop in front with gear and take home bottles of their bigger beers. this is a cool little brewpub worth checking out if you make it to park city. better than average beers, especially the bottled stuff. prices were fair and i will be back here at some point.

Review is from notes taken during a visit in August.
While traveling to Jackson Hole from Salt Lake City, we decided to stop in Park City. Of course I was required to check out the local brews. The Wasatch Brew Pub is located at the top of the hill on Main Street, a perfect location in a neat old mining town.
The brew pub had a very nice bar area which had the brew works in the back ground. The indoor area had numerous tables and a large covered outdoor area with sides that could be dropped during windy and cooler times. The decor was nice, typical brew pub fashion.
We visited during a very busy lunch rush time, so we sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly, had very good beer knowledge and was very tentative to provide service. The beer selection was good with a nice variety of the Wasatch beer on tap along with a few guest beers. There was also a nice bottle selection if you went that route.
The menu appeared to have a nice variety, we choose to have the calamari appetizer which was excellent. The prices were reasonable considering that prices are high in Park City.
Overall we had a good experience and would definitely stop in again when in the area.

Stopped in twice while in Park City, both times at peak hours for dinner; lingered till close to closing time.
A: The atmosphere is probably the strongest thing going for Wasatch Brew Pub. Good seating, a bar area, and an upstairs for the more drink oriented. The outdoor patio was closed at the time I went. Decent brewing atmosphere, but emphasized the restaurant aspect the most (most likely to fit in with the rest of the establishments on Main Street).
Q: The beer was decent but not great. Wasatch produces a wide range of beers which allowed for a variety of different styles to be tried in the same night. The waiter made sure to bring the proper glass or stemware for each style of beer, which while I do not focus too much on glassware I found to be a refreshing change from other brewpubs and bars. They also offered a good selection of Squatters' beer as well. A few brews impressed me yet others felt flat. Overall it was hit or miss.
S: Service was a little slow, however the waiter I had was the same both nights and he knew his beer well which would have increased his tip had it not taken 20 minutes to get the bill at the end of the night.
S: As said above, the addition of other micro brews on tap and in bottles added to the overall value of the place. They even incorporated other breweries' in their recommended pairings.
F: Standard bar fair of burgers, sandwiches, etc. However most menu items do incorporate their beers in some favorable fashion. The food was a little over priced considering the quality. While it was not bad, it was not great either. On the first visit I started with buffalo wings, which is a dish I am highly fond of, and compared to other restaurants wings they left something to be desired. I followed this with the beer battered fish and chips which also seemed lacking. The second visit redeemed the food a little, with the buffalo burger being above average. However overall I would not go here if I was looking for a great meal.
V: Overall for the range of micro-brews I was able to try in one location versus the average food selection and flavor I believe my total at the end of the night was reasonable.
It is worth a visit if you are in the area and want to visit a brewpub, however I would not chose this place if you just want to drink a microbrew with a good meal; there are many other locations on main street that offer better food with a decent selection of micros.

Visited here while in Park City. Nice clean looking brewpub with plenty of seats at the bar as well as booths and seating outside. The bar looks into all the brew vats and brewing equipment. They had about 10 or so brews on tap, 4 of which I tried. Most of them were average at best, but their nitro cream ale was outstanding. A large list of food, including the fish and chips which I had. I think it was $12.99 and it was a nice side portion with 4 decent sized pieces of fish plus fries and cole slaw. Very good. The service was quick and the server was fairly knowledable about the beer. Overall a good place. Would probably go there for the food first and maybe the beer second though.

Popped in for a mid-meal snack and drink. Not too many people inside.
A: Unable to say, given that it was an off-hour. However, I get the feeling it's mostly dominated by tourists (since it is a tourist town); not likely to be a real beer nerd place.
Q: The beer quality (I sampled 3) was very middle-of-the-pack. I sampled the Nitro Polygamy Porter, Evolution Amber Ale, and their strong ale (I think... can't remember the name either). Generally speaking, 'bland' is the way to describe them. I asked about their cask-conditioned ale and was warned away from it by the server. Amusing.
Srv: The server came by often and was willing to offer suggestions / pairings.
Sel: Nice lineup of beer. Several things to try and it appeared they sold bottles to go.
F: I enjoyed the pizza and fries I got, but it's not worth coming by on that basis alone.
This is apparently one of the beer highlights of Park City.... IMO you're not missing much if you don't stop by.

Got here just before a large crowd started to amass. This was a common theme with my tour of Utah brewpubs.
A - Small place, a little dive-y. Appreciated in tony Park City. Decent beer vibe.
Q - Seemed to be slightly above average, both food and beer.
S - A little bipolar. The young woman was at times friendly, at times completely unattentive. At times, service with a smile, at times, a stressed-out, unhappy look. Weird vibe with the help here, overall, I thought.
S - As with the other Utah brewpubs, Wasatch has a fair number of beers on tap and in bottles.
F - I had the buffalo burger, which was good. Good looking pub menu that mostly delivers.
V - A little pricey, but then again, this is Park City. By Park City standards, downright cheap. I'll split the difference.

i vacationed with my famly in 2006 and stoped in for a few, this place was the highlite of my trip, i spent about four hours and tryed about ten difrent beers. i loved the personilised mugs from ther mug club that sit behind the bar, i also liked the birds eye view of the beer tanks on the left hand side of the bar. this place had a peanut butter porter, that was to die for, i had three glasses and took a growler of this brew back home to new york with me.
if you are visiting park city this place is a must see. i hope to return and get my own "orcasteve" mug, i would also like to bring a few of my beer students with me. this is my second favorit brewery that i have ever visited

I was in Park City back in May and visited this place per some decent reviews on the BeerFly. Needless to say, I was not impressed at all.
First impression of this joint, Fox News is on the television. Not a basketball game. Not a baseball game. Not a hockey game. Fox freakin' News. What kind of bar has Fox News on in the bar at peak dinner hours? This alone almost made me walk out.
The bar was crowded, so I sat a table nearby, with a view of the tap handles and the one television not showing Fox News. Otherwise, it was a slow night at the Wasatch Brew Pub.
The menu consisted of standard pub fare: pizza, sandwiches, burgers, stews, fish and chips, etc. The special of the day was "San Antonio Stew." Now, I live in San Antonio, and I don't really know what San Antonio stew is, so I thought that was funny. Didn't really feel like stew either, so I have no idea if it was good or not. I had the Buffalo Burger, cooked medium rare. It was okay, but not great. Decent fries. Runny, bland coleslaw. Nothing memorable about the meal at all.
I had a Hopalicious IPA to go with my meal, and will review that separately. The other beers on the beer menu were varied. They had a Mexican style lager (again, I stay away from the south Texas/Mexico references when north of the Red River), a Kolsch, a hefeweizen, a raspberry wheat, a pale ale, an amber, and their Polygamy Porter, which seems to be their best-selling brew. I thought the beer selection was good.
The place itself isn't fancy. There is an outdoor patio that looked nice, but it was too cold to sit outside when I visited. The staff was slow and not very friendly. Some of the staff was young and aloof, but my waiter was older and just a jerk. Considering how slow it was in there that night, this was unacceptable.
This is an unremarkable brew pub in my opinion. Maybe some of the other beers on tap there would entice me to go back, but otherwise it's a totally forgettable experience. The service sucked and the food was marginal at best. There must be better places in Park City.

Finally got over to this place. Nice little place on the main drag in Park City. There's a dinning area, bar, and gift shop in the building. There was about 8-9 brew's on tap (had 3 brews). I ordered the pub burger, which was very good, with some potatoe chips, and pickle on the side. The atmosphere was nice, met a couple from GA that were there for some sking. They were acclimating to the higher altitude, they were tired. Nice cozy place, you could see some snow falling out the windows. Would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

I have now been to the Wasatch Brew Pub twice now about a year apart. The first time I was here I went with a group of 4 and and we all enjoyed our meals. I ordered a beer that was a little above average, but two of the others ordered the house Rootbeer, which I tried and was really good. The second time that I was at the Wasatch Brew Pub we ordered two pizzas. Both the pizzas were great and the beer was again a little above average. If I go back to Park City, I will go back, the food is great and the beer is good. one problem is that they do not offer samplers, the reason that I received was that you can not have more then one or two drinks in front of you at one time. The weird thing is that all the other Brew Pubs that I visited in Utah allowed samplers.
