Nitro-pour into a tumbler pint, the beer is an orange-amber coloring with a creamy, dense, off-white head that retains and clings as you drink. Aromas of rich, sweet cream and butter, a touch of caramel and toffee, and a light roasting. Flavors of cream and toffee, with a mild roasting and subtle backend hopping. Creamy and light on the palate, the hops and roast come through stronger in the aftertaste. Creamy, smooth finish leaving the palate clean. Very easy to drink!

I've been drinking the shit out of this beer because it's currently the $2.99 pint at the Bear. I normally hate everything Gritty's touches (except for their Black Fly Stout, which is surprisingly excellent), but this really isn't a bad beer. Onward...
16 oz nitro-pour into tumbler...
A: Pours a very dark mahogany with cherry cola highlights. As is to be expected, the nitrogen provides a creamy 2-finger beige head, which quickly dies down into a decent, creamy cap. Attractive, I guess.
S: Ringwood right off the bat. Sweet malts, no hops. Raisony.
T: The ringwood is a bit more restrained in the taste than in the nose. There's quite a bit of dark fruit in this beer, with somewhat of a chocolaty aftertaste. Kinda tastes like a cigarette towards the end, which brings me back to living in Burlington VT and chain-smoking at Three Needs. So that's just fine.
M: Probably the best part about this beer. Mothers-milk creamy, which matches up nicely with the medium carbonation. Nice, thick mouthfeel without being syrupy at all. Kudos!
O: Do I love this beer? No. Would I buy it if it wasn't on special? Probably not, but then again I'm an asshole. Most folks will enjoy this just fine, and as I said, it really isn't a bad offering from a brewery that consistently causes my face to end up in the palm of my hand.
Nitro-tap!

Brewed to celebrate Mt. Abram's 50th Birthday.
Had on draft at the great lost bear. Strange at first because it is a nitro tap
Very creamy nitro head amber red in color
The aroma is light malt with a grain and biscuit a slight hops but not much works well with the nitro
The taste is a traditional English ale malt up front biscuit and slight crystal malts with a nitro finish
