Poured from a capped 750 mL bottle into a Brewer's Art goblet. Moderate hand. Best by 05/10/18 according to the cap stamp.
A: Slightly hazy, golden orange body. 1.5 finger of dense, off-white head. Good retention. Light lacing.
S: Slightly spicy Belgian yeast with a faintly musty character. Floral, noble-type hops. Straw. Traces of soap, black pepper.
T: Yeasty earth and spice roll into a firm bittering, floral hop. Partially balanced by a subdued malt presence. Light cracker. Finishes fairly dryly with a lingering, mildly astringent, hop bitterness. Light alcohol presence.
M: Moderate carbonation with medium body. Enough effervescence to keep things crisp without introducing too much prickliness.
O: Relatively bitter for a Belgian IPA. Dry and drinks well, if not a bit one-note. I would have liked a bit more personality from the hops.
Prost!

Sampled multiple times on tap in Brussels, first at Moeder Lambic.
Medium clear gold, one finger quick, a few small streams of rising carbonation. A bit of citrus in the nose, pine once it warmed. The flavor profile is reversed, pretty resiny, some floral notes, need to let it fully warm to pick up the citrus taste-wise. Mouthfeel features good effervescence, damn bitter finish for a Belgian beer. Jeez, this was pretty impressive, would stand up against the best fresh hop IPAs from the States. Get it while you can.
