Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Deep chestnut, clear, pours with a 5mm pale tan head.
S- Lightly toasty.
T- Same as the Smell, lightly toasty with a balancing malty aspect coming in too.
F- This^ malty aspect reminds me somewhat of an English ale. Little detail here though.
O- It's drinkable, I'll happily finish it but it isn't really ticking any of my boxes, ie nothing here would lead me to buy it again. It would be fine to drink when visiting the Czech Rep but it's not enough for me to buy again as a niche import at £2.60/500ml up in the UK
Review1988/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! ==> The ABV% on mine is 4.7% (this ties with the listing on the brewery website). The Description in the headers lists it as 4.4%. If others notice this discrepancy maybe they have a moment to request an edit to this listing?
500ml bottle BB: 18/12/2021 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

A light bodied dark lager with a slight molasses note. It's very smooth and finishes like a pilsner with that slight bitterness at the end. It's not quite as sweet nor as malty as Kozel but similar in body, low or no effervescence and rather quick dissipation of the head. A very sessionable dark lager and another good intro to dark beer for those timid.

Pours the color of thin French press coffee, with a nice cap of foam. Some roasty notes come across on the nose. On the sip it’s a bit flat, with the roasty notes dropping off rapidly. Another find from my friendly neighborhood Russian market.

Decent dark lager, dark nut brown with small tight beige head. Sweet malt aroma, taste again is malt, molasses, some nuttiness. Smoky, burnt taste lingers on the palate.

The price was right. $1.99 for a 16.9 fl oz and had a nice solid dark lager mouth feel. Taste was a bit flatter than some others, but was better than average. Worth a go for sure.
