Bright, clear orange-amber color topped by a fluffy, off-white head. Sweet toffee and biscuit malt covered with an herbal and citrusy hop stickiness. Fruit, citrus, and pine bitterness works with a solid, sweet toasted malt base. The malt and hops are about equal intensity. Medium bodied.

Maybe I'll try a fresher can to see if there was something wrong with this batch, or if this IPA just can't maintain it's flavor for very long. Right now this is alright, but not up to par with the rest of the 21st Amendment beers I've tried. Not bad, but I expected a lot more looking at the hop profile.

12oz can received in trade with cfrancis - thanks!

Appearance - Clear golden/amber with an average size fizzy off-white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some decent lacing. The head lasted for around 3-4 minutes.

Smell - Hops, malts, grapefruit, lemons

Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and I can taste caramel, malts, and hops. There is also some grapefruit, lemons, and apricots. There is also a bit of a corn/graininess. It ends with a malty grainy yet hoppy bitter aftertaste.

Overall – Really good dose of hops, but there is a little bit of adjunct flavour going on. Just a little too much grain/corn taste. Still a good beer, just not as good as the some of the other AIPA's.
