Can in teku
A- pours dark cola brown with a nice two finger bone head
S- lots of milk chocolate, sweet malt, cinnamon, pumpkin, chili scents
T- starts with a roasty chocolately malt, cinnamon, sweet pumpkin, lots of smokeyness, dark fruit, earthy, I get some
M- thinner than it looks because it's so dark but very enjoyable
O- impressed with this, it's nice and smokey, which was expected of the style, the pumpkin is not in your face, it takes a back seat to the porter flavors. This is a nice change from your run of the mill pumpkin brown ales, it is complex and delicious.
Had to go back and bump this rating up, this is one of the best pumpkin beer I have ever had. Period

Pours a jet black with a finger of tan head.
Smells weird, like pumpkin and brine.
Tastes of, dark chocolate, faint pumpkin, black coffee.
Intense, oily, mineral finish.
Overall, intriguing if a bit odd overall.

The appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a thin white slightly foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light stringy lacing. The smell had a nice blend of roasty coffee and chocolate, lightly dosed with cinnamon, allspice, pumpkin spice and coriander. The taste was roasty, sweet and spicy through a combination of the prior mentioned flavors. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a tad bit of sessionability to it. It left a nice sweet smooth creamy spiciness running over my tongue. Overall, I say this was a nicely done Baltic Porter that had some different aspects not necessarily true of the style but still worthy of partaking of more.

Poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: A pitch black that pours a tan head, not much retention.
Smell: A lot of roasted malt, maybe some chocolate. No pumpkin?
Taste: It taste like an ordinary porter, malty, cocoa, maybe a hint of nutmeg. But almost no pumpkin flavor.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, moderate carbonation.
Overall: It taste like a regular porter, but I do not get much of the pumkpin or spice flavor. It taste good, just not what is adverstised.

On tap at brewery in San leandro. Read the reviews first, had to weigh in on this one. It's smoky, dark and deep. Good leathery feel. That's the good stuff. On the other hand, the power of the smokiness pretty much obliterates the pumpkin spice . It's difficult to figure out what they are aiming for here. It finishes hoppy, which is ok for an 8% beer, but its got some astringent notes that come with the dark or smoked malt. If you can swallow a pint of this you're a better man than I am.

Look - pitch black with a giant creamy tan head and very little lacing.
Smell - roasted malts, pumpkin, chocolate, some smoke, maybe nutmeg. It took awhile to identify these aromas since the smell overall is quite subtle and a little odd.
Taste - chocolaty malts, pumpkin, that nutmeg spiciness, and ends with some notes of vanilla.
Feel - good carbonation, the mouthfeel is somewhat chewy, but ends pretty thin.
Overall, I appreciate this unique take on the style, but the aroma is a little off-putting, and I would like a thicker body to it. The pumpkin is definitely present, but I don't know if it really fits this style.

Jet black with a thick creamy tan head, beautiful
The nose reminds me of grape medicine I had as a kid, very fruity the malts and the spice lend to an almost medicinal flavor, not in a bad way, if that make sense.
The taste is more baltic porter than spice, unlike the triple IMO. The flavor melded well better.
Its not an every day beer certainly but not bad.
