Stopped into the Bobcat on 01SEP12 with Alewife for a nightcap. Had two 12oz glasses of this new offering, at $5.50 per... Has some New Zealand Nelson Sauvin and German Saphir hops, in addition to a number of other ingredients...
The small snifter was filled with a rich, golden bier, with a light haze within. Head was thin, fine and white, mostly clinging to the edges, and it left nice lacing behind. Pleasant coriander aromas wafted about, though they were restrained a bit. Solidly medium in the body category, it also was relatively smooth on the tongue.
Taste was a bit wheaty and crisp, with coriander and orange peel both easily evident. Intimations of tropical fruit also appeared, and the hopping was nicely bitter, dry and satisfying. A nice one-off from Bobcat. Prosit!

Poured from tap into a seemingly mini tulip...? at Three penny in Montpelier, VT.
Hazy orange with frothy white foam.
Smell is fantastic Belgian wit aromas, banana and clove really dominate.
Taste is at first sip sweet belgian wit meets german hefe banana, but morfs into a bitter hop parade. What?
Its somewhat tart and citrusy finish but smooth and drinkable.
Its un expectedly complex; but for me its actually the first collab where you get 2 distinctive personalities in one brew. Its really unique and highly drinkable. I recommend trying this unique brew.
