One off cask version with Coffee Emporium Coffee Beans.

Into a snifter the was at least 2 inches of dense tan head.

Nose has plenty of roasted notes to blend with the addition of coffee. Very pleasing nose.

Taste is so smooth and silky. Really big body but very drinkable. Delicious to say the least. More roasted characters and light acrid notes to take away from the overall feel. More on the milk chocolate side than anything.
As this warms there are more coffee notes and a little more acidity but nothing that would stop me from grabbing another.

Still comes off as 5% and nothing bigger. Just plain easy to drink.

Great example and I was glad to try this because the regular Edmund Fitz is just delicious as well

From the Firkin at GLBC during "Firkin Thursday" event.

A) Deep black, poured with a huge light-mocha head.

S) Rich deep coffee which can be smelled immediately, smokey chocolate hints in the nose as well.

T) Coffee on coffee without being over-powering. Alcohol content was unknown, but it would be hard to believe it was anything more than the 5.x% of the standard Edmund Fitz, as no signs of alcohol could be detected.

M) Very velvety with a good bit of carbonation. Very enjoyable.

O) I probably prefer the taste and feel of this one over the standard version, but I could certainly see how the standard Edmund Fitz would be more "sessionable" for most people.

M)
