330ml bottle poured into a 16oz pint glass.
A - Pours an average pale lager yellow with a fizzy white head and lots of carbonation on the glass.
S - Pretty typical lager. Barley can be made out, with a nice bready base to it. A touch of grassy hops can be made out as well. Simple but unoffensive.
T - Starts out alright, with some barley malt and bready notes, but quickly gives way to green-bottle-skunk and some mild grassy hops. Finishes a little stale and musty. Metallic aftertaste lingers. Not pleasant.
M - Thin body, bordering on watery. Overdone carbonation. While not good, in the end it's pretty typical of the style. A light, peculiar film builds up on my tongue from it as well.
D - While the green bottle certainly played a role in me not enjoying this beer, I can't imagine it was all that spectacular to begin with. Skunked or not, this a sub-par for even a lager. Musty and stale, and basically devoid of any flavor other than skunk. Oh well.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a two finger tall white head that reduces to a medium patch of very thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready and biscuit malts with just a hint of floral hops.
T: Very similar to the smell, the dominant flavors are those of bready and biscuit malts with a light amount of bitterness from the floral hops.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp.
O: Easy to drink, refreshing, and a good example of the style. I think that it is a little better from the can than when I have had it from a bottle - tastes fresher.

(Served in a fluted strange)
A- This beer pours a straw yellow body with a touch of haze and a creamy white foam that you could write your name in. There is a sea of microbubbles swirling around in the body.
S- The clean slightly sweet aroma of green sulfur has a flint note to it and some freshly crushed pils malt comes through in the finish and grows.
T- The fresh pils malt flavor has hints of honey malt and a dry finish with a slightly sweet sulfur green hop flavor that lingers only for a moment.
M- This beer has a light crisp mouthfeel with a tight fizz.
O- Even though I describe it as sweet, it is not. There is just enough sweetness to mellow the sulfur and give the malt that fresh flavor. This is very easy to drink by the liter.

Pours a clear golden color with a solid one inch white head that dissipates quickly into a thin half layer of foam.
Grain, corn, and malty sweetness dominate the aroma, which finishes with a pilsner cracker-like scent.
Flavor is comprised of slightly sweet, bready malt, with a bit of skunky flavor leading into a fairly dry finish. The balance is decidedly malty, but there's a peppery note that cleans up the profile.
Body is moderate, with slightly more than moderate carbonation. There's a bit of slickness and a touch of astringency.
Overall, I don't have much experience with the style, but there appears to be a bit of a skunky, light-struck character to it. Malt is a bit forward, with some adjunct flavors and a fair representation of hops to keep it interesting.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass after consuming another beer from this brewery.
Dab Original has a amber color with some lighter spots here and there. Alot of rising bubbles create a nice looking tan but unsturdy head that fades into some small patches. No lacing from this. The smell consists of grain, barley hops and some earthy hops. The hops come out in taste a bit more with a nice sweet malt backdrop and light floral arrangements. Some bisquits in the middle with yeast taste finishing it out. The feel is light crisp and refreshing on this hot day, A bit of a bite from the carb and some hop taste sticks on the tounge a bit. All in all a beer I would grab if I needed a beer.

Served in a pint.
Appearance: transparent gold, white head is thick but rose to maybe a finger's length.
Smell: light light hops, smells like nothing.
Taste: very creamy, like half and half with a shot of hops and malt.
Mouth: med to almost full, very appealing after-taste.
Overall: well crafted everyday brew that can satisfy the pickiest of drinkers. Enjoy because I definitely did, Salud!

M: Well carbonated, kinda blah on the palate, light body

This beer pours a clear light gold color. The head is a half in of bright white foam that recedes quickly into a small cap of lacing. The aroma is of corn with a slight sweetness. The taste is a touch sweeter than the aroma, but it is more of an adjunct sweetness than a malt sweetness. The mouthfeel is thin with a watery texture, and aggressive carbonation. Overall, this beer tastes more like an adjunct lager than a Dortmunder, and its not even a good adjunct lager. I can't see myself drinking this again.

Poured from a green bottle. Label is boring and really doesn't ask you to drink it.
A: Clear golden straw color. Short white head.
S: Sweet malt, bready, and slightly floral.
T: Well balanced combination of malt and hops. Water/barley/hops/yeast.
M: Crisp, smooth, mild carbonation, medium to light body.
O: Nice hop flavor in the finish. Easy to drink. Not a lot to this one.

A - Pale yellow colour with minimal head.
S - Strong malty aroma with a decent hit of cheese and bread.
T - Thick malty flavour with some sweet cheesy overtones. Lightly spiced with just a touch of fruit as well.
M - Nice mixture of maltiness and solid carbonation.
O - This is a fairly basic German lager. Has some nice malty flavours but it's nothing special. Would like to try this on tap as I think the malt flavours would really shine through.

11.2 fl oz, poured into a tall pilsner glass.
The AFC Championship Game just started, so I figured it's not too early to have and review a beer. And away we go...
A: It looks like a pilsner; golden color, wheat-colored head (very small) that does not last. Bubbles kind of like champagne.
S: I get the expected hops, wheat, grass, and some extra little earthiness. It's nice.
T: All that I smelled is confirmed, and a slight hint of lemon or grapefruit; I'm leaning grapefruit, as the polls would indicate. Nothing overpowering, the proportions are good.
M: It's good, not outstanding. For its type, it's actually very good. It's well-carbonated, washes over the palate well, and leaves a slightly hoppy, somewhat pruny aftertaste.
O: Good drinking beer; you can have a few of these bad boys while watching your favorite sporting event, or shoveling snow, or before a power nap. Cheers.

500ml can poured in an ordinary glass. Enjoyed in an Autogrill restaurant close to Milan, driving to Venice.
A: Pours a golden clear yellow color with a big white fluffy head. Fizzy carbonation and reasonable retention. Some lacings left
S: Simple beer. Bready malts and flowery hops, basically. Reminds a German Pilsener
T: Simple too. Bready malts, yeasts and hops. A refreshing beer. Dominated by malts. Dry. Moderate earthy and stingy bitterness
M: Light body, high carbonation
O: Quite honest and drinkable beer. My impression was something between a German Pilsener and a Lager

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that died down and left delicate lacing on the surface and down the sides of the mug.
S: There are aromas of biscuit and bready malts in the nose.
T: Like the smell, flavors of biscuit and bready malts dominate the overall taste.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The beer is very easy to drink and is a good representation of the style.

Can poured into pint glass
three finger head
This was my first dortmunder lager, and I don't think I am a fan.
The beer smelled like a metal, this was due to the can I assume.
The taste was miserable, I did not enjoy the citrus that seemed out of place along with the hops.
Mouthfeel: Like water
I will never have this agin.

Pours light, smells grainy, tastes of grain, lemon, and vanishingly light bitterness with the noble grassy hops you expect. Mouthfeel is a touch light, low body, but good carbonation. There's nothing wrong with it but really not much character either; light but serviceable, happy to see it for six dollars for a six-pack every so often at the store.

Pours a crystal clear, yellow/gold color with a large head that has decent retention.
Aroma is subtle but pleasant: bready pils malt, a hint of corn, lightly floral. No diacetyl and very little esters (if any).
More flavor than the aroma would indicate: light, bread malt flavors and floral, slightly herbal hop flavors are in balance. There is a bit of mineral character and hop bitterness is medium. The bitterness balances the malt sweetness and provides a crisp finish with some bready pils malt, hop flavors and some bitterness lingering. No diacetyl, no alcohol flavors.
Mouthfeel is medium/light bodied with medium carbonation. Crisp overall.
This is a tasty, easy drinking lager with good balance. I would reach for this beer on hot summer days and to accompany straight forward German cuisine.

Straw yellow after being poured into a tulip from a longneck bottle. Thin head, quickly dissipating. Smells clearly grainy, some rice evident. Very crisp and flavorful. I paired it with dutch cheese and it did very well. Perfect amount of hopping makes it a well balanced brew. Very nice lager.

impressive for such a basic export lager. looks great with super lacing and a longstanding head...smell is the least impressive with a hint of cereal/rice...at least none of that american adjunct corn smell. the taste is what makes it with a refreshing hint of grain and a lingering, not too dry finish of hops. bittersweet in a most desirable way. rolls on the tongue smooth and luscious enough. not thin. what a bargain! enjoy it quickly though since it camps out in green bottles...

500 ml can poured into a pint glass.
Abundant foamy head dissipates quickly. Typical Lager pour. Clear yellow appearance. Smooth grainy taste. Light session qualities but flavorful enough to be very enjoyable.
One of the better lagers out there. Loving the Dortmunder style from a mighty fine brewery.

12oz can poured into a stein
straw yellow color, two finger head rapidly disappearing, little lacing.
solid barley flavor in the nose, with some metallic and almost chlorine-like aromas as well
some fresh malt and light hops, but also a metallic and that same chlorine flavor at the end
maybe a bad can, but only a bit better than most mass-produced lagers

A - Clear pale yellow with a steady stream of tiny bubbles contributing to a fairly nonexistent head with no lacing to speak of.
S - Sweet barley backed by that light struck quality that we all fear, but this one isn't all that bad. Finally, a nice wash of hops brings the nose back around.
T - Plenty of barley at first that gives way to hop bitterness and finishes with a cross up of mineral water and a slightly metallic taste.
M - Thin, watery and not much aftertaste on this highly carbonated beer.
O - I didn't have that bad of a time without this at all, and would welcome a glass of this on draught, but I fear the bottled and shipped version lacks a little.

Very pale yellow color, to pale if you ask me, with one finger of head that quickly settles to a thin cap. Light lacing is left down the glass.
Light malt aroma, cereal grains, and a surprising Noble hop presence.
Quite a bit more hop flavor than what I was initially expecting. Plenty of peppery, spicy hops. Malt is dry and cracker like. Mostly dry in the finish with a lingering hop bitterness.
The body is thin. Reminds me of a light, adjunct lager rather than an all malt lager. Carbonation seems apropriate for the body.
Easy drinking and at a bargain price. Not the best by any means but a good lager.

500mL can poured into an official DAB mug:
It pours a typical pale lager colour with a nice foamy 2-finger head on top.
The aroma is mostly wet grain and some slight creamy malt, with faint grassy hops.
The taste is very nice! Slightly sweet, and creamy malt flavours with faint hop bitterness in the middle. Very buttery towards the end, with some grassy hops rounding out the background.
Overall, this is a good beer. No bones about it. It's a great go-to lager!

What a great lager. Clean, crisp. Subtle. The aroma and taste a just barely hoppy. This can go with any food. You could drink them all day and neither tire of them or get overloaded.
This is what a simple light lager should be. It is something I should seek out for repeats and to have on hand for when something stronger is too much.
