Pours about what you'd expect. Clear gold with minimal head that drops quickly. Nose is that sweet kind of tone with a dirt edge to it. Flavor is acrid and bitter. Eek. Even cold it still bites at the tongue. Feel is about what you'd think it to be. Basically this is really another of the lager brews you find the world throughout. What we need here is an intervention amongst friends. Listen Colombia. Admit it. You have a problem. You need better beer. Let us help you. (now accepting applications for emergency airdrop beer deliveries!)

Golden color with a short retention head.
Faint smell of malt and floral hops, hints of corn.
Sweet flavor of malt and cereals, and a light hint of floral hops. Some metalic and quite buttery notes. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Interesting that they don´t show the ingredients that were used on it, so no mention of non-malted cereals. Light body with a low to medium carbonation.
Not really a premium beer as it is marketed. Today there are much better choices of beer in Colombia in that range.

330ml bottle poured into pint glass 29/8/12
A clear golden yellow with a few streams of bubbles shooting up the side of the glass, a thumbs width of soapy head leaves just a whisper of lace
S dry hay and thrills gum, there´s some grainy sweetness and a little lemon
T the lemons a little sour in the mouth, soggy cereals leave a little too be desired, as average as it was I preferred the smell
M watery but decent carbonation, the aftertaste is a little sour
O I might be a little generous saying this one smell average, pretty basic stuff but It was easy enough too drink
yet another underwhelming from my trip down south, I´m seeking out beers from other countries from Latin America after giving up on Mexico. Colombia did little for me but I´m loving the Country tics

A: Pale straw, small white head, plenty of smallish bubbles steadily rising to a small white cap. Keeps a ring and leaves a bit of lace.
S: Touch of grainy, husky, crackery malt with a hint of sweetness. Floral & fruity lager esters – almost sort of tropical. Just reasonable nose for a smallish light lager.
T: Sweet, floral, & fruity estery sweetness first. Then some pils-esque cookie/malt sweetness leads into a grainy and dry crackery backbone. As sweetness fades the hops emerge. Herbal & grassy with a fair bit of bitterness that is nicely cleansing.
M: Closer to medium than to light for body. Just barely under-matched carbonation is finely textured. But not really soft or smooth – more of a bright yet relaxed fell. Leans semi-sweet with some sticky sugars. Just a hint of hop drying in the finish.
D: Nothing creative or remarkable here, but well done for a "premium" (lowish gravity) lager. I think this might be a bit over the 4.0% listed on BA. Very nice for a lawnmower, probably more appropriate for a BBQ on a cooler day (the sweetness). Of the hundreds of this sort made around the world, this one is solidly middle of the pack.

extremely light straw color with virtually no head and of course lacing ...none
very clear and clean looking beer
grainy malts...sourness with a very light hop smell. Detect some pilsen malt perhaps and some corn?
Almost sour at first taste...thin with a bitter twinge on the back of the tongue.
No real malt to speak of taste wise....thin a watery

Hola mi amigos! I am sitting in the old centro part of Cartagena enjoying the wonderful warm March evening. I just completed a self guided walking tour through this maze of 'hoods with much concern and anticipation. Growing concern for my safety after a few wrong turns. Thankfully this part of town is well patrolled! So I am parched, sitting at an outdoor bar in Plaza de la Aduana...and anything would taste good at this point. Ordered up a Club Colombia...hit the spot. The beer is among the Mexican style family, although this has a hop that help to come off the pallet clean. Standard yellow color, white head/no lace, grainy smell, easy drinking. Obviously I would not select this beer over many of my favorites, but while in Colombia...its just fine!

Probably the best widely available Colombian beer, which isn't really saying much, I know.Club Colombia is a little stronger than Aguila and has a little more flavour. Looks like your typical macro lager and tastes like it.
Cools you on a hot day - like on the beach in San Andres or poolside in Cali. A better class of lawnmower beer.

Smells real sweet like a corn mash. Pours to a bright yellow with a big bubble foamy head that all but disappears except for a clingy ring. Taste is also corny-like sweet with a slight bitterness in the middle and a dry slightly bitter finish. Mouthfeel has good carbonation masking a slight lack of flavor. A good beer for the afternoon with a hot Bogota sun beating down. What it lacks in flavor it makes up in refreshment and drinkability.

12 oz bottle.
Freshness date stamped on the cap.
This sample was not fresh, but at least it was on a bottom shelf in a darker area of the store, and it had a layer of dust on it that hopefuly helped to keep light out.
Dark golden, fizzy short lived head, no lacing.
corn and grain aroma.
Flavor is sweet corn and slightly acidic.
Dry finish.

Poured a medium straw hue with a four finger bone white pillowy head. There was very good retention and sticky lacing.
The smell was very grainy and indicative of corn adjunct. Light flowery hop aroma as well.
The taste was very grainy and a bit husky. A small streak of bitterness as well. Happily no sweetness was detected. Bitter aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was light and a bit slick.
Overall a decent macro lager. Different, but the same - if you know what I mean.

this is by far the best colombian beer,. . although most of colombian beers have abv 4% this has a particular taste.
It tastes is a bit cooked than others, smoother
is almost cristal clear appearance (see-through-glass)
mouthfeel: after several of this you just have some sort of bread taste or the like.

Pours ouy a golden yellow with small white head.
Smell. is grainy and slightly sour.
Taste. Grainy and cereal like, but no sweetness. it puckers my mouth. aftertaste is slightly sour.
Mouthfeel. Good amount of carbonation. body is fuller than others in its style.
Overall, i dont mind this beer, but not that good. I think the best thing about it is the body. This beer can be enjoyed, but not worth trying to find.

Appearance This one was yellowish-orange in color with a huge, full, white fluffy head that actually showed a bit of retention.
Smell This grain has a touch of Bavarian lager smell, truth be known, but mostly its a sickly sweet grain bomb.
Taste The knarly grain comes out much worse at the taste. The nice lagered flavor is there, but its so small it cant quite make up for the nasty grain.
Mouthfeel This one is a bit bigger than light-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and a nice, refreshing carbonation.
Drinkability I didnt sink this beer, although I drank it in the kitchen in the event I lost my nerve.

Comes out a very clear bright yellow out of the bottle. (good luck reading the fine print on the label). He is nice and white with big lace, medium carbonation that keeps the head across the top of the glass, smell runs towards old oats with a dab of sweetner, almost skunky.. Taste on this one does not mirror the smell, it is smooth with no rough edges, tastes of easy malts and um (oat style taste, nothing standoutish) that leans into a very short term hoppy tinge to offset the body from the aftertaste. Will take this beer with Brats any day.
