L- Very similar looking to cola, deep ruby-brown with a pale tan foam cap reducing to a thin whisp of bubbles
S- Mild, just some toastiness for me.
T- Quite toasted, then a brief fruity note and into a nutty and hoppy-dry finish. Also in the finish is a minor sweet note too - I'd glad this is fridge cold as that sweetness will only build as it warms.
F- It feels light for 6%, of which there is no hint. And it has that sweet note, presumably from the puzzling glucose syrup listed in the ingredients. Why on earth would they add that to a supposedly 'adult drink'.
O- Disappointing, especially at the price. The beer has that sense of articial/adjunct. It has has a sweet/wooly blah to it. I definitely wouldn't drink this again.
Bought from COP-duty free and yet still inexplicably expensive DKK/330ml can that's £2.20, duty free for a 330. Shame COP airport don't emulate Reykjavik/Iceland airport with an iconic and supremely high quality beer offering (ie NOT a Carlsberg adjunct). At Reykjavic their duty-free you can buy 750ml bottles of the seriously majestic and mysterious 'Lava Beer' to export and relish at home - and what a fond memory and wish to return it conjures.

Long lasting beige head. Excellent lacing with lumpy spots and streaks. Ruby brown color where light faintly passes. Appears clear.
After deeply toasted bread, I pickup some cinnamon and molasses, but not too sweet.
Darker bread, almost like a combination of rye and pumpernickel, flavor. Some semisweet chocolate and a touch of chalk. Good body with ample carbonation. Some warming in the swallow with the aftertaste being like a sweetened, rich chocolate cake.

750 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. Copper coloured, good creamy off-white head. Pleasant malty aroma, notes of chocolate, toffee and nuts, hints of roastiness. Smooth and mellow mouthfeel, low carbonation. Flavour has caramel, toffee and some chocolate, slightly sugary. Faint notes of English malt vinegar in the background. Very moderate hops. No masterpiece, and not worth the relatively high price.
