500ml bottle
A- Clear golden body, perfectly transparent, sure this is filtered. Carbonation is quite evident. Big, white fluffy head, decent retention, not as much lacing as expected
S- Quite subdued. Sweet with a bready malt background, a hint of vanilla. Slight spicy touch (pepper)
T- Again quite on the sweet side, even for a weizen, but not cloyingly so. Soft bready malts, with a slight salty hint to bring a bit of complexity. Hints of vanilla (as the smell suggested) and peach. Also a slight spiciness
M- Drier than your usual hefeweizen as to expected. Also a bit more on the crispy side. Overall still very soft as per style though a bit more lively on the palate
O- Not super complex, but drinkabilty is even better than in common hefes. Overall an highly enjoyable, easy beer

For me, the Original leaves a sour after taste which puts me off drinking any more.
This however is definitely much better. As others have said, it's crisp and clean but still tastes great. The carbonation is bit much but overall this is still one of my favourite beers.

Had a .5L bottle in Germany. It's crisp and clean, almost like a kolsch, or low bitterness pilsner. There's still a soft, bready aroma with a peppery, clove edge. There's a hint of banana mixed in too, and as you might expect, this tastes like a cleaned up Schneider hefe. A slightly sweet, bready malt flavor rolls over the tongue, but there's a drier finish. This beer seems a little more crisp and refreshing. I'd prefer Schneider Original, but this was a pleasant change of pace while traveling.

A - Three fingers of foamy fluffy white head which drop sto half a finger and remains, joined by some fine spotty lacing. Body is clear, golden and effervescent.
S - Banana, wet hay and salty crackers, reminiscent of pilsner malt.
T - Banana, bubblegum and salty malt.
M - Crisp medium carbonation, full mouthfeel.
O - Lovely and crisp with pure, clean flavours. A great example of the style.

Had a few more since my first review.
S: Banana.
A: Champagne looking with fine strings of bubbles. Clear gold.
T: Bit of banana but not much upfront flavour. Nice residual stuff going on which I assume is yeast related, as is typical of the Schneide Weisses. Nice sherbet tingle on the tongue. Getting closer to room temperature I'm tasting a bit of corn, but that disappears after a while. Half way through and the glorious strings of delicate bubbles are still rising up. Touch of sediment at the bottom. Did the swill thing and added the last portion and got a load of cloves. Beautiful but subtle sherbet aftertaste.
O: I was blown away by my first bottle but I drank it when I was parched, so I was overly astute. The few I've had since have not been very tasty. Definitely better when thoroughly chilled and left out of the fridge for 10 mins. A very refreshing beer if you've had a busy day in the sun.

Poured from a 50cl bottle into a weizen glass.
A - Very clear golden colour with a big fluffy head. Excellent lacing starting to form.
S - Strong vanilla aroma with plenty of sweet banana. Classic kristall aromas. Touch of malt in the background. Not a complicated aroma but very succinct and strong. Big light fruit hit coming through to match the taste as it warms - plenty of peach and pear.
T - Taste is not as pungent as the aroma; also quite a bit sweeter than expected. The malt flavour is there but it's subdued - the taste is still very rich but without the full-bodied flavour. Fruity tastes abound though - some light strawberry, pear & peach.
M - Mildly spicy at first largely due to the carbonation levels but subsiding to a more sweet fruity-malt sensation.
O - As this beers warms it becomes remarkably more peach flavoured. At first this was scarcely detectable but as I consume more it's becoming much more obvious in both taste and aroma. The sweetness could be slightly overpowering for some but otherwise this is a very interesting example of this style of beer.

Poured from a 500ml bottle into my Franziskaner weizen glass. A very clear refined golden colour, with a head than only a wheat beer poured into a weizen glass seems to provide - billowy, chunky, solid and luscious. Masses of carbonation; it streams in tiny lines very slowly along the bottom edges of the glass, then gets released into an anarchic mess of swirling bubbles once it gets past the narrowest part of the glass. It's absolutely delightful to look at.
Whatever you say about a Kristalweizen, being able to watch such mesmerising bubbles is something it has over its hefe counterparts.
Nose is mild with light wheat acidity and a slight round yeasty sweetness. Faint banana and bubblegum, but quite subdued. Hint of green organics come through as well. It's pretty light on, but it has some pleasant and true wheat characters to it. In true kristal style, though, they seem very subdued and relaxed.
Taste is really quite pleasant. To start, there's a light bite of metallic zing, before a refined wheat grain character and a touch of acidity on the back. Sweetness rolls around the back of the palate, giving body and clout to the beer, which stylistically could be rather thin. Finally, the metallic character comes through to give a refreshing kick to the end of the palate.
Quite full, especially for a kristall, and the flavours are very nicely put together, which helps meld the palate.
A really, really good kristalweizen. I'm not sure I've had a better one; one with more flavour and character, or so well constructed all up. Schneider do do an excellent range of wheat beers, and with this they show what can be done with a style that is often neglected.

According to the label this is the tap2 beer.
A clear, golden beer with a huge initial head.
Smell of ripe bananas and a nice grainy wheat smell. Very fresh and even some notes of lemon.
Taste is very fresh. The wheat is light and has some grainy notes. The yeast is most dominant in the beer, giving banana, lemon and some pine-apple. The mouthfeel is smooth. Aftertaste is light and crisp.

Pale gold, yellow. Thick white, whipped head.
Wheat malt aroma, pear, touch of vanilla, green citrusy fruit smells, and a hint of a hop note. Can't smell any clove or other signature aromas of this style.
Taste is subdued wheat, some toastiness. Not very complex. Good thirst quencher, but not remarkable.
Moderate carbonation, but body quite light... slips away fairly quickly... gives the impression of a creaming soda or similar. I'm not overly impressed with this.
