500mL into a weizen glass. Pours a hazy, dirty amber w/ a big fluffy off-white head that leaves behind patches of lace. Lively carbonation rises from the bottom.
Aroma is big banana, clove and spice, as expected. Tons of yeasty, fruity esters. Good stuff.
Taste likewise is full of overripe banana and spice, pepper and clove.
Mouthfeel is soft, light, medium-bodied, refreshing. Drinkable.
Overall another great example of the style from one of its masters.

Into a weizen glass:
A: semi-dark brown body with a two finger foamy lumpy head that quickly dies to a film of a head, some light clingy lacing
S: "banana"/estery yeast up front with some light wheat, and grass, comes off a bit bready-like
T: basically the same
M: light to medium, somewhat sessionable, seems like it has the right amount of carbonation and good for me as well
O: well, I say this is good for the style and good for me, I would come back to this and that says a lot since I'm not a true fan of this style

look: 4 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.5
appearance: a light, chocolatey brown with a 2 finger head that dissapates to a thin layer of foam. Relatively opaque so it is difficult to see the carbonation.
smell: not a big fan of this. some wheat, grass, and yeast are present, but then some type of sour funk comes on pretty strong. Not sure if this is a bad bottle or if i am just not used to the smell, but it is off putting for sure.
taste: much of the same from the nose but the sourness is not quite as strong. Still not my favorite. Again, it could just be this bottle.
mouthfeel: light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very drinkable.
overall: Just not my favorite brew. I have had alot of all-stars recently, and this one is just not quite hangin out with the rest of them. Just a little something off, but once again again, it may be this bottle. I will have to get another one soon to compare.

The 'Tap 7' variety, is not a patch on the 'Tap 6' variety. Similar in looks, chestnut grey and cloudy. Thinner, with a harder and rather spear-like on the palette tinniness (in comparison, between the two).
This one cost me e0.95 from the local specialist beer shop; the #6 was e1.19.The e0.24 premium is very well spent is my advice!
