Gassy and very thin, somewhat metallic mouthfeel, leaves an unsettled feeling in my stomach...I never knew it was supposed to be a cream "ale" so now I know why my expectations were never met...the "Red Lager" and "Private Reserve" are not much better, they used to do a Porter which was at least mediocre...

1/8 finger head that quickly fades. No lacing. Smells like booze, tastes like a cheap mass produced beer. Their lager is a bit (for the price) better which is why I gave this a shot but it is awful. Would not drink again even for free.

Couldn’t tell the difference between this and a lager. Not sure what makes it an APA or cream ale. Not much aroma and taste, kind of bland. What's the point?

When it comes to a beer you've had hundreds of times, this fits into that category. Very light yellow straw macro tone appearance, doesn't form anything more than 1/5" head for any amount of time, what goes up went down extremely quick. Tough beer this does not look like.

Aroma is a lot of booze and grass. Light corn like mouth feel on this one, PacNW Wilamette hops, long boil. For a cream ale it has substantial bitterness and seems like polar opposite of what you would go for in that department. Feels like they just aimed a dart and it hit 'cream ale' even though this tastes more like a bitter esb light in the pants.

In terms of cheap ales, this one's not half bad. Maybe it tastes better since I am drinking it at work on my last day there, snitched from the company fridge. Sweet smell of grass with even a touch of bitterness in the hops. The look is ok, but hard to tell since it is being drunk straight out of the bottle. Taste is pleasantly better than expected, but that's not saying much since my expectations were low. Grassy, light sweet malt--maybe saying I can taste some jasmine is doing it more justice than it deserves. It pairs well with the homemade spicy Thai pork curry I brought for lunch. Light mouthfeel.
