Very average beer.. average in appearance, smell, taste, mouthfeel, and drinkability. Nothing special to report, just that it went down easy and I would recommend having it served extra cold. The only interesting thing that I could say about it was that it tasted very honey-like.. I'm not sure why, but the beer had a definite honey flavor to it.

Poured minimal head on a clear light straw colored body.
The aroma is a faint grain smell.
The taste is unoffensive with a mild bitterness and a touch of honey sweetness.
Light body with moderate carbonation.
I could throw a couple of these back while doing some yard work in the summer...

Bavik has a medium-to-thick, soapy, white head, and hazy golden appearance, some lacing left on the glass, and an enormous amount of bubbles. When I swished the bottom 20% of the bottle, a cloud was seen descending in the glass and lots of little brown specs were visible in the beer. The aroma is of sweet, full, lightly-roasted barley malt, white bread, and a slight hop zing. Taste is of the same elements, with a wonderful, somewhat piney (if you can believe it) hop bitterness showing up mid-sip. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Bavik finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and wonderful. Each sip gets better, and I recommend, in the strongest way, trying this delightful beer!

5% ABV per the label.

Pours a clear yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Broken rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and a grassy aroma. Taste is much the same with a grain-like flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

Poured from a 11.2 oz bottle into a pint glass. Reviewed live.

A- One finger of quickly eroding white head with large bubbles. Pale yellow color with fairly high clarity. Watery white lacing.

S- Floral hops and some citrus. Lemon is a big smell here. Unfortunately it smells like dishwashing liquid.

T- Grassy, slight taste of alcohol, muted citrusy hops. Light Pilsner.

M- Light, watery, carbonation is slight.

O- Just not a great style of beer in my opinion.

Served in a bottle at Bistro B in Kernersville, NC

A: Pours a crystal clear pale straw yellow in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some very light golden yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy white head that reduces to a medium sized thin patch, some very thin film covering about half the surface of the beer, and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light aromas of bready malts with a slightly stronger aroma of grassy and floral hops.

T: Moderate flavors of bready malts with grassy and floral hops which contribute some light bitterness which lingers for a while.

M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with some moderate dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with a fairly low ABV and lighter flavors/aromas - refreshing and sessionable. Pairs well with many foods.
