This beer pours a cloudy, lemony yellow. There was a mild head, but it subsided rather quickly and left very little lacing on the glass. The beer didn't have much of an aroma, but what I could smell smelled decent enough. There was a strong lemon-citrus flavor. The mouthfeel was mild and creamy. Overall, this was a decent quality beer, but inferior to Hoegaarden.
Wittekerke's strong suit is its drinkability. Its pleasant taste and creamy mouthfeel make this one heck of a drinkable beer. I could see drinking dozens of these at a party on a hot summer night.
If you're looking for a one bottle masterpiece, then look elsewhere. If you're looking for a strong beer, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a quality beer for session drinking, then give this a try.

Witbier in a can, let's go.
It was a rainy day, but still kinda warm. The chili was taking their marks and the cook-off was about to begin. With a slight delay I opted to have my first beer at 11am, something light to not wreck my chili palate.
This beer was given the chance. Pours a light yellow/orange, a bit hazy. Fluffy light head, small bubbles.
Light citrus aroma with hints of spice and white pepper. Not much power behind the nose. Light sweet malt. I don't get that coriander and zest I expected.
Same with the flavor. Not all that zesty or spicy. Light citrus and a bit sweet. Not dry for sure.
And the light carbonation does not help. Lacing zest, I would have been satisfied with a good bubble and dryness. Instead it seems a bit filmy and sweet. Surprising with the huge head, but this one seemed a bit flat.

11.2 oz can picked up at Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont, into my 2013 NERAX pint.
A- big foamy white head. very pale yellow.
S - not much there, smells a little skunked perhaps., hints of milk.
T - sweet, drinkable, a little citrus
M - very light, thirst quenching, tasty.
O - five more in the fridge should go down easy on a hot day. Nothing amazing, but a nice lighter brew. Glad I bought it - man does not live by hops alone.

Appearance: Cloudy, lemonade yellow with a pure white head. Rather large bits of residue that settled at the bottom of the glass.
Smell: a simple lager aroma.
Taste: Light, crisp, and lemony. Refreshing: I enjoyed it after a long walk; it hit the spot.
Mouthfell: Very light, like carbonated soda.
Overall: If you are looking for a beer to help ween some friends of their bud and miller lights, this would be a good one to break out on a hot summer day.
