250ml bottle:
Poured a cloudy pink-gold with a rose cap.
Promising aroma: some biscuit, spice and fruit and earthy tones.
Flavor was a letdown. Fruit and sweetness predominate and obliterate any other flavours. The sweetness seems synthetic as well. I had looked forward to this one as I like Wittekerke witbier and thought this was a sort of wit cocktail with fruit and Petrus red.
....but it is simply far too sweet to define any complexity at all.

Presentation: 250 mL slim can, served in an oversized wine glass. No freshness date anywhere.
Appearance: Very thin, bubbly head that disappears almost instantly. It has a very nice, cloudy, light pink color.
Smell: The scent is dominated by raspberries, more artificial than anything. Nothing else.
Taste: Tastes mainly of raspberries. It's very sweet, and there's a little bit of malt.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and light. Feels sticky on the palate due to the sweetness. Good carbonation.
Overall: A very simple and fun beverage. Calling it a "beer" is reaching a bit. Nevertheless, it's very refreshing and nice to drink. Definitely worth keeping a couple of cans around for when you want to drink something different but don't necessarily want a "real" beer.

Bottle served into a La Chouffe tulip. Reviewed from notes taken July 2010. 4.3% ABV confirmed.
A: Pours a two finger head of slight cream and fair thickness. Retention is average. Body colour is a solid light red.
Sm: Artificial raspberry, an overload of sugar, and syrup. An unfortunately quite strong aroma.
T: Tastes like artificial crap raspberry, cultist suicide style koolaid (just drink it!), and overloaded garbage sugar and nasty syrup. Cough! Not really a true beer at all. I'm embarrassed to be seen drinking this. simply crap. Poorly built and balanced, with no redeemable characteristics. The finish is a sort of dying sugar-high stale note. Cough syrup comes through.
Mf: Very smooth and wet. Helps the disgusting flavours slide down.
Dr: 1.50 euro is high considering the pathetic state of the taste. Not a worthy beer at all. This is a damned embarrassment. Avoid at all costs.
F
**I just want to point out that this was terrible but I did not drainpour it. I finished it because I'm not a panzy. Remember: there are sober kids in India; nut up and finish your damn beer.

Cellar temp can poured into a snifter. the beer pours a brightish pink like a blush wine with some light frothy head of about 1 cm foaming up. Fades to a large wispy island in the middle of a thin edge layer.
Sits with a bit more amber color in the glass.
Aroma is sweet raspberry and a little grain but mostly sweet fruit.
First sip reveals a light body with minimal tiny carbonation. Texture is thin to watery and the beer goes down with almost no effort.
Flavor is sweet raspberry, like a sugary candy, jolly rancher maybe? Not much else on the flavor profile, does linger a bit on my palate. Finish is a little dry.
Overall the beer is very easy to drink and might not be terrible on a hot day if you can get by the sweetness. Im not a huge fan, but dont consider it a drainpour or anything like that.

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a slightly cloudy, rosy apricot amber with a thin white head that slowly dissipates to a ring around the glass, no lacing. Aroma of raspberries and not much else, but the fruit aroma is quite nice. Flavor is tart and sweet raspberry, very faint neutral malt. The berry flavor is nice, but this is far too sweet; basically an over sweetened fruit juice with a thin malt body. Light bodied. I had to try it, but our relationship ends here. Cloying sweet, but I have to give it credit for being pretty much as it presents itself.

Bottle 300 ml, ABV on the label is 4.3%. World Beer Awards sign on the label as Europe's Best Fruit Wheat Beer.
It pours a hazy pink colour, wit a one finger white-pinkish head with a good retention. Lots of bubbles in.
Strong aroma of raspberries.Quite artificial though, it smells like those vitamin tablets that get dissolved in water.
Very sweet in taste, and that sweetness stays in your mouth for quite long.
Very thin in body and quite carbonated.
Overall, too bad that I could only buy this one in a package of six, and now I have to drink five more.

Pours a very hazy apricot hue which leaves a fast vanishing one finger head and little lacing with a rim aswell, the smell is very sweet too sweet actually with aromas of raspberries and mainly that with also some fresh soft lollies and wildberries, the mouthfeel is lightbodied and tart with tastes of mainly raspberries that really dominate and dont let much else in apart from candied wheat and lots of sugar it really does remind me of a girls drink and i dont think i really need to say to more if i want to be polite cheers.

Wittekerke Rose
Pours a light cloudy pink color, light pink foam. Aromas of berries and a small portion of wheat malt. In the taste, berry sweetness, sugar, cola like carbonation and a little yeast. Alcoholic wheat berry soda. Mouthfeel is light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Overall, a fruit beer that is geared towards female consumption.

A - Pours a hazy pink body with a white foamy head. Has huge bubbly lace and the retention was great!
S - Has a huge raspberry scent and vaguely some yeast. It smells like a raspberry syrup (the one you mix with water).
T - This is lemonade, very sweet from the start with raspberries of course. To sweet for me. Could have been nice, but this is for kids. The sweetness and raspberry flavor kills any other hints within the beer itself. If someone would have said that it was raspberry 7-up, I would have believed it.
M - Medium carbonation and light in body.
O - Could have bene nice, but this is for kids. A bit more hops would have helped this beer and maybe a bit more sourness too.

Poured this monstrosity from a 250ml can into my Chouffe N'ice goblet. Hadn't ever seen this one before, and hope to never see it again. Very cloudy, pink color (much like Bud Chelada). Big sea foam froth, thin film after a couple minutes. Smells like powdered raspberry vitamin packet. A lot of fake sweetness on the nose. Funky. On the mouth, verrry sweet. Fake raspberry vitamin (Flinstone's Kids?), alcohol. I read the ingredients. Saccharin. Nice. Now I have cancer. Mouth is very grainy, sudsy. One of the worst beers I've come across.

Bottle thanks to Bobby, labeled as Wittekerke Framboise.
A: The beer pours a dark pink/light red color with a pinkish tinted head.
S: A very sweet aroma with lots of raspberry to it. It's got a raspberry soda type of aroma to it with a little bit of straw and grass. Some raspberry syrup and a light wheat note.
T: Intensely sweet and somewhat sugary. There is a hint of tartness to it, perhaps a little bit of citrus peel to it. A light grass flavor and tons of raspberry and raspberry soda type flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: A little sweet and soda-like for my tastes.

Poured a 250ml bottle into a small tasting serving to try out this beer.
Poured a nice pink, head was decent. I think this may be quite an interesting find considering the experience I had with the Wittekerke Wit.
Smells artificially sweet, sour of raspberry, and a little ale sourness. The wheat character still a little evident, but hard to detect.
Had a mouthful. SHOCK. Raspberries very evident. Ale evident. Most evident - artificial sweetener. It's like... A coke light. The artificial syrupy Equal taste that you can find in light versions of sodas.
Can tell that this will probably sell very well with the ladies, but does not score a point on my side. Others may like it because of the marketing, pink everything. But not for me. Will stick to the wit.

Bought 2 bottles of this framboise from the Wolf Public House in Ballwin, MO for $1.95. Poured into my Budweiser pint glass and enjoyed two back to back. Has foreign numbers on the back "40232".
Appearance- Pours a Hazy, Peach/Amber body with 5 fingers of Overflowing and foamy head. Has huge bubbly lace and the retention was great!
Smell- Has a huge raspberry scent from feet away from the bottle as it is poured into the glass. Also can hint at some mild cotton candy aromas and a alcohol note on the end.
Taste- Very sweet from the start with raspberries of course but then comes the wine chiller effect.... Not a huge fan. This sweetness and raspberry flavor kills any other hints or attributes within the beer itself. The mouthfeel is Light Bodied, smooth, and a Mimosa/Sprite aftertaste. Leaves nothing on the tongue or cheeks.
Overall- Have to be honest. Wittekerke's Belgian White is tremendous but this one misses the mark. I thought this was going to be more like limbic (with sour and tart tastes and aromas) but only has the scent. Will be a great beer for the ladies during the summer but nothing special. Can we even call this a beer? Says "Malt Beverage with Raspberries" on the front, so I'm going to have to look this up.

Pours a hazy lemon gold with the faintest pink tinge.
Smells of citrus and tart cherries.
Tastes citrusy and of raspberries and cherries, very sweet.
Thinner to moderate mouth with a tingle of carbonation over the tongue.
Light, easy to drink, pretty tasty, but very sweet. Either for dessert or for people who really like sweet fruit beers like Lindemans.

Poured into an E&J Cask & Cream glass on 5/3/11
Pours a dirty, light rose hue - darker in the glass, cloudy but not quite murky. Two finger cap of foam; white with a faint pinkish bent. The head doesn't last (though swirling later on really works the carbonation). Skim retention. Good bit of lace.
Despite a preponderance of sugary notions, the nose has a pleasant enough aroma of raspberries. For the most part it even smell like real raspberries and, at times, fresh ones to boot. The sugars do weigh it down with a syrupy, concentrated heft. Toasty grains linger in back.
This doesn't taste quite as sweet as I was dreading but it has some other dicey things going on. The first half of the beer offers a reasonably tasty, somewhat sweet raspberry presence. Moving toward the finish, however, is a saccharine/aspartame flavor that immediately calls to mind diet pop. Coupled with the graininess of the malts that also emerge later in each sip, the finish isn't very enjoyable.
The sugars are sticky and make for a lingering, medium feel. Carbonation is rather prickly and active. Warmth doesn't seem to help this one, as the sugars become more apparent in all aspects.
The ever-growing pile of sugar makes this a dessert sipper of a beer and a mediocre one at that. Could be a lot worse but 11.2 oz is too much for one sitting so I won't be finishing more than half this. Pass.
