Clear gold color, little to no head. Light graininess in the nose, no hops, pretty much a cookie cutter light lager so far. Taste is actually kind of foul, slight skunkiness mixed in with cereal grain and maybe a little grassy malt. Again, no hops anywhere. Well carbonated, but this is still a subpar beer.

Disappointed to find this in the fridge. My spouse isn't as adventuresome as I am when it comes to beer.
Well, it's pale and carbonated. Taste's like other macro-"lite" beers. No flavor. If you are looking to drink a low-cal beer, maybe there is some social or psychological reason for going with the regional scale brewery instead of the multi-national, because I just don't see a difference in taste.
Like some other Leinie's products, but am not into this one.

Pours a very clear light gold...nose is sweet corn....adjuncty...very watery mouthfeel...even for a light beer...taste has some faint corny sweetness....I expected a slight hint of the Leinies Original somewhat zesty hoppiness but it is nowhere to be found...the taste is OK but the wateryness just overrideds and dilutes the flavor..
Not one of the better light beers made....but drinkable in the right spot...I particularly enjoy it on the tennis court....last time I played the wife I pounded a six pack of water...errr leinie's lights while waxing her 7-5, 6-1 (notice the improved performance after hydrating with Leinies light!!! Fuck gatorade, there'snothing like a little barley flavored water to do the trick)
ABV might be about 3.2 or less....
A good water substitute with a little beer flavor...

Can, brought back from the brewery tour. This is a pretty typical light beer. Pale yellow color, not much head (at least nothing that lasts more than 45 seconds). Not much for smell, grain with a bit of alcohol. Taste is similar, some grain or grass - tastes like light beer. Taste and mouthfeel are both watered down. Hops? no. Hard to be dissapointed, because you get what you would expect from the corresponding light version of a big name pale lager.

A: pale yellow, 2 finger head that disappears, good lacing.
S: sweet grain, very subtle hops.
T: grainy, dry finish, sweetness.
M: big carbonation, light body.
D: There are other better light beers and certainly much better
offerings by Leinenkugel's.

This pours a pale yellow hue with a foamy white head. The aroma is light with grain and yeast. The taste is thin, watery, and grainy. For being a “light beer” at least this has some decent flavor to it. Drink very easy leaving a lingering grain taste. Considering the price, this would be a better option than Miller Lite or Bud Light.

I am not a fan of light lagers but since my sister brought me back two bottles of this from the brewery, I figured I would try it. This beer is not really limited edition, but it is only circulated within 60 miles of the Leinenkugel Brewery. This looked more like a bottle of water being poured than a beer. There was a small amount of a wheaty aroma, but nothing else. The taste; what taste! This would be a good beer for someone who hates the taste of beer. Some may enjoy it for something light, but not myself.

Head lasted quite a while but it was a straight pour down the middle. Minimal lacing effect as beer was consumed.
Not a lot of bouquet or aroma but very typical of mass marketed beers in this category.
Again, do not forget this is a 'light' beer.
Not a lot of aftertaste which would bring you back and back again. More along the lines of a thirst quencher without the calories if that is what you are into.
Probably could have stepped it up half a point but it is stretching to rank as an average beer in the entire beer world. Not bad for a light though. Too bad about the limited availability.

Pours a clear, light pale blonde with lots of carbonation and a fast dissolving white head. No lacing after the dissolve. Aroma is multi-grain malt, grassy hops, and a slight lemon zest. Flavor is very light bodied, some corn malt and a slight metalic at the back of the tongue. Finish is watery, clean, crisp and no aftertaste. Not bad to a low-calorie, low-carb, light beer.

Pours a clear, pale yellow color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and poor lacing. Smells of adjunct, pale malt, and yeast. Fits the style of a Light Lager. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with a high carbonation level. Tastes of adjunct, pale malt, yeast, and very slight hop. Overall, not a real good light lager - I wouldn't recommend.

Pours clean and clear. Lacing is a bit light and the head isn't anything to dance about. One of the better tasting light beers I've had, which isn't saying all that much. Surprisingly drinkable. Only a slightly watered-down taste, less than many lights. Fairly decent light offering.

Appearance - Light yellow. Clear. Thin, soapy film of a head. Bubbly. Looks somehow dull in my glass, though. (Maybe it's the cloudy day.) Average to slightly above for a macro light.
Smell - Light sweet malt and adjunct. Actually quite potent relative to most macro lights. Rates a little better than average just because the odor is present.
Taste - Primary impression is crisp and watery. Very light sweet malt flavor that disappears off the tongue. Pretty well balanced and inoffensive. Good for class.
Mouthfeel - Light and tangy like you'd expect a macro light. Nothing special.
Drinkability - This is a better than average light lager. While not competing a very impressive category, this beer is mild and refreshing with flavor that compares favorably to its competition.
