500ml bottle poured into an Erdinger weizen glass by freshness date.
A:
Hazy yellow amber color, the pour produces massive fluffy white head with great retention, it slowly dissipates into decent everlasting foamy layer covering atop. Nice lacing clusters are left all around upon head dissipation, high and fizzy carbonation.
S:
The smell is well mellow; mingling by rich sweet malt, big banana ester, fruity zest, caramel, bubblegum, clove spice and slight phenol.
T:
Fruity ester and citrus zest in the start, clove participates in bringing some phenol and spice. Bready malt acts as a base of flavor to yield slight sweetness and a note of dough throughout the tasting process. Hop bitterness is at the tail and just subtle or indistinguishable.
M:
Medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing with semi-smooth mouthfeel from fine carbonation, finish is rather dry.
O:
Pretty good beer and yeah it’s better than their original Hefeweizen, high drinkability.

Best before 3/2014.
Pours a hazy orange with a foamy orange-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, wheat, spice, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with banana and yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and somewhat medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

Hazy golden orange color. Lots and lots of thick head with long retention and bubbles that keep going up from the bottom of the glass. Some particles floating.
Yeasty aroma of citrus, clove and wheat. Banana is more distant here.
Wheat bready and fruity flavor, more towards citrus than banana. Just a bit of pepper with a zesty feeling. Mildy dry aftertaste inducing you for more.
Light body with good carbonation.
Quite refreshing. I found it more interesting than the others Erdingers, except the Pikantus.

Big head on orange golden beer, steady carbonation.
Smell is decent enough. Banana, a lot of bread and biscuit. A bit of floral scent.
Taste is fine. It's malty, mainly sweet. Smooth and easy drinkable.
Overall it's a fine beer. It could do with a bit more powerfull taste, and some more carbonation as well, similar to the Erdinger regular Weisse, but this one also will do fine.

-pours a modest head that quickly recedes
-the smell and taste of this hefe are perfect
-modest hop aroma leaves room for the bready/yeasty/banana aroma to come through
-I get a little bit of spice in the aroma as well
-tastes just like a Bavarian Hefeweizen should: banana/clove in good balance, absolutely no undesirable esters, very clean finish that makes me want to never stop drinking this beer
-I'm sure there are some folks that won't like this beer because it comes from a macro, but I think it may be one of the best hefeweizens available

A great beer. I recently met through referral from a friend. Here in Brazil leaves an average of $ 9. A little expensive but worth the investment. Highly refreshing, especially with the weather here in Brasilia (Brazil), around 30 º. Great color and amber foam that does not hold much to the cup and a very smooth taste.

Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a large white head that doesn't last too long.
Smell starts out sweet, citrus fruit, banana, pepper.
Starts out a bit citrus like, mainly lemon. There is a hint of banana and clove at the back end.
Goes down nice, there is a lot of carbonation.
Definitely a nice beer, tastes best when not too cold. Has a lot of flavor, and goes down easy on a hot summer day.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a high amount of visible carbonation. It poured into a weizen glass with a two finger high white head that died down but consistently left a half finger high head covering the surface.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of bananas and wheat in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of wheat along with notes of bananas. The bananas become a bit stronger as the beer warms up.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate to high amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink, refreshing and has some thirst-quenching properties. Its good drinkability and lack of clove flavors could make this a good entry-level hefeweizen for novice craft beer drinkers.

Poured from the bottle into a wheat ale glass, and later a little roll.
A real nice orange and bronze amber glow, unfiltered and opaque body with a real nice creamy top. Manages a collar and cant see much carbonation rising.
Nose is real nice. Classic wheat and hefeweizen yeast esters, but a real great orange fruit sense. Nice chewy malt. Smells great!
Taste seems to be a bit of a letdown. Orange soda, and tight carbonation but none of the wheat density on the palate. Beer like malt presnce hardly detectible, and not even much banana sense either (no complaints) but it doesn't taste like a hefe.
Overall, not a bad beer, but pretty ordinary for the style, and it's too much like soda.

Served in a tapered weizen mug.
Huge pillowy head, lasting head retention that never breaks on the surface. Murky saturated orange color, fairly opaque once the yeast is swirled in.
Light banana and orange creamsicle aromas that carry into the flavor. Lightly wheaty on the back end, slightly dry in the finish and not too sweet. Clean and flavorful. Unfiltered and yeasty. Medium bodied and pretty quenching in the summer heat, drinkability is high. Better than the standard Erdinger Weizen from what I remember.
