The #1 best selling local craft beer in Buffalo. Medium bodied Vienna-style amber beer with soft, nutty malt flavors and just enough German hops for balance. “Chain” goes great with chicken, pizza, grilled vegetables… pretty much everything now that we think about it.
Available year round on draft, in bottles, and cans all across WNY.
MALTS: Pilsner, Vienna, Caramel
HOPS: Magnum, Tettnang
20 IBU

This Vienna style lager pours a rather transparent amber with minimal off-white head. The nose is of malty sweetness, as expected. The initial flavor is rather chemically and the mouthfeel/body reminds me of a seltzer. With so many other Vienna style lagers on the market, this can safely be left on the shelf.

A little too light. Poured a somewhat dark Amber with a decent head. Proved to be misleading. Ended up being too light to be considered a Vienna Lager in my opinion.

This is my absolute favorite beer. I am not super into all the science of beer and what not. This is just a good tasting beer. Its sweet and savory goes well with bar food and you don't need to be drunk to stomach it.

12 oz bottle, brought to work by a co-worker who got it in a beer of the month club and didn't want it.
I was skeptical going in but this ended up being a really solid Vienna lager. Medium amber color with a large off-white head. Excellent clarity. Nice, balanced aroma of lighty toasted malt and lightly spicy hops. Balanced flavor as well with some malt sweetness showing. Medium bodied with perfect carbonation and a clean finish.
Standard yet tasty Vienna lager here. Paired really well with grilled knackwurst and onions.

This beer poured a clear copper color with a significant caramel-colored head of approximately two fingers. The aroma is fresh, sweet, and malty, although somewhat vague. A nice bitterness with a burnt caramel undertone is the predominant taste. With its relatively low ABV, this makes a nice session beer.

Deep hued copper body with a thick, frothy head; sticky rings of lacing line the glass. Nice toasted grain and caramel smell. Fine malt sweetness with balanced hop bitterness flavors; light nut-like quality; caramel. Medium body; smooth and warm on the palate.
A solid Vienna lager offering, balanced and very flavorful.
