Poured from a .5L swing top to a pils glass the liquid is a dark yellow, lots of deep color, with good carbonation. The head is tall white and leaves lots of lace.
The smell is nice crisp hops, and a crusty nutty malt.
The taste follows really nice the big attraction here for me is the most nutty crusty malt, with a nicely sharp and crisp hop finish, but the malt is outstanding very rare to be noted in a Pils.
The mouthfeel adds to the big malty flavor. It is quite a bit thicker but not like an imperial. The same great rish crisp taste but crewy and chunchy even on top of that.
The drinkability of this brew is about as good as a pils gets in my book, Prosit und Zum Wohl. MK
