Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass in high elevation Libby, Mont. Reviewed live.

A- Half-finger white head, low retention, but a ringed white floater around the edge. Hazy reddish-brown color.

S- Earthy hops, light malts. Some earthy yeast strains as well. Very light.

T- Slightly bitter, hoppiness but warm tasty malts.

M- Smooth, light. A few shades north of watery. Pretty nice, all things considered.

O- Slightly above average, but nothing amazing.

Nice light clear amber color with a thin white head. Strong hop aroma. Sweet caramel malt flavor followed by a strong yet abrupt hop finish. Thin light bodied mouthfeel with a lively yet not aggressive carbonation.

Not as good as some hoppy red ales in my opinion but still a really great beer.

Had this at Bud's Tavern on draft. Had many times before but only in bottle. Nice rich reddish amber in color. Thick white head with good sustainability. Aromas of sweet malt with a lot of hops as well. Has an inviting look. Taste is slightly sweet at first quickly followed by a hop wallup. Not quite balanced and quite dry. Easy drinking though. Decent amber and worth trying.
