22oz bomber served cold in pint glass. Beer pours orange with a slight haze and a small off white head. Really nice aroma of pine and citrus C-hops that promises an flavorful but not overpowering IPA.
Flavor is a little bit more aggressive: Cascade is up front, but plays well with other hops. Finish is dry without suffering from hop burnout much. Well balanced with the grain bill. I wholeheartedly concur with the label: this is an unashamed NW IPA.
Overall I am really impressed with this second offering in this year's Manic IPA series.

This poured out as a hazy amber color with a white head on top. The lacing and retention are pretty good. The smell of the beer is malty with some earth hops. The taste of the beer is malty with a mild hop bitterness. Very mellow and dry. The mouthfeel of the beer is medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Overall this beer is pretty good.

Thanks to Eric for sharing this bomber with me. Poured into a tulip, the brew appears a hazed copper color with a white cap. Some patchy to spotty lace sticks to the glass and a swirl revives a finger. The cap displays decent retention with yellowish tints around the edges.
The nose is fruity citrus rinds and herbs from the hops. It is somewhat catty with a cheesy funk aspect that increases its presence across the back as it warms up. Nothing particularly fascinating going on here but not bad either.
The taste includes notes of fruity rinds and herbs from the hops with a catty and herbal backing that gets oily, pine-like and pithy into the finish. The hops provide seemingly all the flavor profile of this brew which I am not gonna complain about, it just is lacking a bit.
This is a medium bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. It is a decent interpretation of the style that is for the most part without fault. However, it is a pretty forgettable offering that I would not be in a hurry to try again unless it was super fresh.

You gotta love a name like 'Prometheus'...it's titanic. The beer itself tries to live up to the name, and really falls just a bit short. It's a slightly hazy golden brew, mostly transparent, with a thin, soapy head. The smelly is of spicy hops, backed by a nice pale malt scent. Its taste is clean and balanced, and not as aggressively over-hopped as a lot of IPA's. Firm bitterness, but also a central maltiness that's appealing. Full in body. This is a solidly good, although not great, IPA.

A: The beer is hazy yellowish amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high frothy white head that died down a bit and left some lacy rings around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderately strong aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose-orange and grapefruit stand out in particular-along with some notes of pine resin.
T: The taste has flavors of pine resin hops along with some notes of citrus. A light amount of bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite flavorful but quite easy to drink, especially since it is not overly bitter.

Appearance. Pours a hazy gold-amber with two fingers of thick, creme coloured head that leaves some nice lace.
Smell. Sweet caramel malts, some tropical fruits and citrus with a little spicy cedar.
Taste. Plenty of lightly sweet, toasted malts and oily citrus hops, slightly floral, slightly piney and a nice bitter finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium body, below medium carbonation.
Overall. A very solid west coast IPA. I'd drink it again without any hesitation.
