On tap @ Redbones in a 12 oz flute.
Bright golden hue, mild haze with a thick white lace. Aroma of mild tropical fruit and grassy phenols. Tastes a bit juicy with grassy hop and phenols. A tad bitter but the finish goes towards sweet.
A tasty Belgain style brew from the NW but a bit too weak to be a tripel IMO.

A-a hazy golden orange with a fingers worth of white head that sticks to the glass
S-pale malts, citrus, pears
T-pale malt backbone with sweet pears, hints of citrus and pepper, and light Belgian yeast
M-light to medium body, medium carbonation
Overall this is an ok tripel, but nothing all that special

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with fine off-white, two finger head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of over ripe light fruit, light caramel malt and Belgian yeast; a hint of coriander and cloves. Flavor is sweet apple and pear juice, light bready malt, fruit finish with a hint of grassy hops. Very slight Belgian spicing. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Light flavored and fairly tame by Belgian tripel standards, but the flavors were pleasant and well balanced, although a bit on the sweet side. I enjoyed it as an interesting domestic take on the tripel style.

A nice looking tripel, but definitely lacking in the alcohol & body department to really feel like one.
Slightly more easier drinking than a tried & true tripel, mostly sour citrus in the hops. Not a lot of sweetness, which is fine by me. Maybe a nice intro to tripels.

Hazy pure gold in color. Pretty opague. Small white head that doesn't last long. Heavy fragrance of citrus fruit, floral notes, lemon and yeast. Tastes is slightly sweet, zesty with little to no bitterness. Refreshing light citrus quality though flavor is pretty heavy. Good punch of spice notes as well, definate coriander. Body is smooth yet well carbonated with a sort of sparkling quality. Pretty enjoyable.

I might not be the best to review this because I am much more of an ipa/strong ale guy, but this was at my local market which always has great crafts. This beer is a stronger beer for Elysian, a Seattle Brewery where I live and it is the worst I have had from them. Its not exactly a tripel, 7.4% and has some spice notes, coriander and allspice almost. But then again, I am not a fan of the Tripel or any Belgium style.
