A Northwest interpretation of a classic English style, golden copper in color and loaded with New World hop flavor and aroma. Extremely drinkable.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber with a half finger white head that dissipates slowly to a ring around the glass. Aroma of mild bready malt and light piney hops. Flavor of bready malt and grassy hops, leaning towards a pilsner profile. Mild citrus flavors. Medium bodied. A nicely balanced light IPA that could have used a bit more fresh hop flavors, but still quite a nice ale. It is possible that this is an older bottle but it is not dated. Nice low key IPA.

Balanced, middle of the road IPA that's surprisingly good. Piney, malty, fairly light with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. I'm not a big Elysian fan but I really like this.

On draft in Seattle. Looks like a nice West Coast IPA. Has a mild funk on the hoppy nose and finishes a bit bitter. The taste is pretty standard and solid. Pine forest and spicy notes.

Golden amber appearance with a small off white head and good lacing. Floral hops and dough pop up in the aroma. A mixed bag of hop flavors: resin, citrus and spice. Aftertaste has a mellow, bitter quality. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel with a finish that lingers.

Great IPA. Floral notes, subtle malt flavors. Tastes like it’s not very strong but comes in over 6%. Taste develops. Somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Good lacing.

Pours an amber color with an orange tint with a small head and minimal lacing. Has a mild smell of grassy hops, and some pale malts, almost like a hoppy lager. However the taste isn't any more exciting than the smell. It actually tastes like someone took an IPA watered down and added a mildly unpleasant aftertaste, and the carbonation is also inline with being watered down.
Overall, this is something I would drink if I didn't have any better options, but there are so many better choices out there that I would not buy this again. Let's say I'm glad I got it in a mix and match 6.
