poured from a 22oz. bottle into a tulip glass.
A- a clear orange/gold, with a finger and a half of eggshell head.
Nice lacing down the glass
S- Big toffee/caramel malt notes, with a grapefruit, slightly earthy hop presence. Smells A LOT like Great Divide Titan.
T- Best way I can describe it is a baby of Great Divide Titan. The taste is much more restrained though. Fairly prominent toffee/caramel malts, with a grapefruity hop (Amarillo?) and slightly tangerine note (Centennial?).
M - Medium carbonation, and medium bodied. There's a slight astringency on the back end that I don't really care for.
O- It's good, but not "world beater" good.

Poured into becker pint glass; golden-copper in color, true to the bottle blurb, with a ton of floaty bits in it. Not sure if this is intended, as far as I can tell this isn't a bottle-conditioned beer. Big fluffy white head that fades about 50% and then sits as a disc of thick rocky foam with tons of lacing above it on the glass. Smell is dank hops and a bit of malt. Taste is delicious; very clean malt taste with some sweet fruit and a slight bitter finish. This is the perfect sessionable IPA (flavor-wise at least, %abv might be a little past sessionable). Mouthfeel is big, but it works. Not everything needs to be a 200IBU hop bomb, and this is a perfect example of why.

Had a nice pour from the growler into the Duvel tulip glass. Very appealing deep amber color with a healthy dose of head. Aromas of fresh cut pine branches, sticky sap and fresh breeze from the Sound. Taste is a crisp and sweet balance between hops and malt. Mouthfeel is satisfying. I wouldn't mind filling my growler with this one again. Would pair well with a green chili cheeseburger or a red velvet cupcake.

A - somewhat hazy beautiful amber/orange pour with slight white head. Dissipated quickly, good lacing.
S - way fruity on initial sniff, almost unflatteringly sweet. Has some grassy/earthy tones.
T - initial hoppiness that is immediately overridden by fresh fruitiness. Pears, some peaches. Incredible across the palate endi with sweet malts.
M - sits heavy on palate after drink. Sweetness with slight bitterness at back of throat that lingers. Medium body, but slightly on the heavy end.
O - good beer. Smell and taste are uniquely opposite.

Elysian Brewing Company - The Immortal IPA
Look - Pours a hazy peach with an amber hue. Bubbly (yes, bubbly) head with a vigorous pour dissipates quickly. Very little lacing. No freshness date but did not seem to be past its prime per se.
Smell - Spicy pear and sweet malts, almost like a fruit beer. I was a little put off here for sure.
Taste - Carbonation kick and hop rides in strong blast to the face, nice and hyper-bitter grassy pine bitter, fades to English malts.
Mouthfeel - Sits bitter and dry to say the least. A little warming but not overly boozy. Good drinkability. Medium to heavy carbonation.
Overall - Unique as hell for sure, have not had anything quite like that one, some would probably love it. Aroma put me off a bit but the taste made a case that won for me, solid brew.

Bottle with no apparent freshness info poured in to tulip.
A - Translucent orange/yellow colour with one finger of off-white head.
S - Grapefruit, pine, tangerine, mango and a noticeable caramel sweetness.
T - Moderate bitterness for the style accompanies pine, tangerine, musk/dank and light mango flavours. A decent caramel malt backbone provides a lot of sweetness.
M - Medium body. Slightly sticky. Light carbonation.

22oz bottle. Pours a vibrant golden orange with a half inch of frothy head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is bready and biscuity with some citrus. Slight floral notes. Not much of a nose. The taste is some orange peel with floral hop notes. Good deal of malt flavor with some bread and floral bitterness at the finish. Orange peel aftertaste. Mouthfeel is on the dry side. Not what I was expecting from a PNW IPA but it's still solid. Overall, drinkable and pretty tasty. Would grab it again.
