From the website: MALTS: 2-Row, Carapils, Wheat
HOPS: Saaz and Cascade (aroma)
Other: Local CT honey from Stonewall Apiary in Hanover, CT and Natural Berry Flavors.
Tastes a bit like a pale wheat ale with some berry flavor and texture that reminds me of a thin mead. If you like mead then this might be a beer for you. From a beer standpoint, the berry honey blend makes me feel that this is a bit unfresh; the flavor feels like it's not enough in one direction or the other; either not enough berry flavor, or sweetness, or honey presence. It's the kind of bitterness that can happen with honey and for me it doesn't work too well in this brew. This is a light bodied beer that could stand to be more refreshing.
