Cool place, great beer selection and a good place to buy as PA's beer laws suck if you buy in a liquor store. The only bad part is the tons are in the same open area as the food so you are assaulted with the fermentation odors the entire time while you eat. That can really throw off good tasting food, so I can't tell if I liked the fare there or not.

Never went to the old location, but the newer is almost overwhelmingly awesome. Plenty of parking, tons of space, plenty of seating. I can say it's almost a bit to spacious and lacks a comfortable feel, but at the same time its a treat to be there. A little too much concrete and empty wall space, but it would be hard to cover their massive walls effectively, or rationally.
Always have some great beers on tap, although I wish there more options at times (I've been here multiple times while traveling). Usually you can get a good Scratch series that will be something you haven't had, which is always fun, and there will always be their core beers.
Huge gift shop with all you can want. A really great self guided tour - I mean, I think this is one of the best tours in general which I think says something to only be self guided.
If you're in the area, I feel like this is a must visit situation.

I love the new Troegs location. There are always at least eight brews on tap, more depending on what the Scratch output is. Pricing is reasonable as well, with "pick three" flights for $5 getting you all of the stuff you haven't had before. Food looks amazing, though I've never tried it. The service is typically pretty good, but when the brewery is a madhouse, it can get a little difficult to get a beer. I love the atmosphere of the place too, with high ceilings in the tasting room and numerous different types of seating arrangements. We try to make it a monthly stop, just for the new Scratch releases.

Troegs Brewery has a great atmosphere. It's what you'd expect for having a bar in a brewery. There are several different bar like counters to enjoy your drinks at, as well as a separate section for booths and tables. There is also an outdoor seating area. The food, although I didn't have any, appears to be well portioned. I think it's a little pricey for the food, but I'll let others be the judge of that.
Once you get a beer, you can carry that into the self-guided tour area of the brewery, or the gift shop off the front entrance. It's quite an enjoyable experience!

Love the beer the troeg brothers put out. The new tasting room is perfect. I like the idea of going up to order at a snack bar versus having a traditional dining room with servers. It keeps it very casual and easy going. Actually a great place to take the kids. My kids love the fries and grilled cheese and they can be as loud as they want.

Took a trip out to Hershey Park and decided that I needed to stop in to see the new location since they moved from Harrisburg. The Place is much larger than the old facility very spacious and had self guided tours, a large bar area and a decent sized dining area as well. The place is a very clean and obviously very new looking. The greeter was awesome, he told us everything we needed to know about the place and made us feel very welcome there. The bartenders were very busy and not as attentive as they could have been. Took a little while just to get a couple beers. The food menu looked pretty good but we didn't order any. The selection was really nice there, all the regular year round brews including the summer seasonal and something like 8 scratch beers on tap as well. Overall it's a pretty ice place and if I ever find myself out in Hershey again I'll be sure to stop in and have a few more rounds.

My trip to troegs pretty much guaranteed that I will be returning. The $5 guided tour is well worth it and they always have one of their rare scratch beers on tap in the tasting room.
Food service is cafeteria style, but don't let that fool you. I had ahi tuna fish tacos which were amazing and my wife had what they called the carnival which had root beer cotton candy.
I can't recommend visiting here enough when you're in the Hershey area.

Can't say enough good things about our visit to the Troegs tap room and restaurant. After a long day at Hershey park from roller coasters to candy stores walking into Troegs was the perfect antidote. Patrons and staff were plainly happy to be there. Nice ambience with clean wood...stainless...industrial environment with best drafts and special on chalkboard. Food was AMAZING from the popcorn to the beer recipe sandwiches. Wish I lived closer...I'd be there every Friday afternoon.

Love the new (if I can still call it that) brewery! All open and visible, ample bar and table seating, and all of the Troegs offerings on tap for pints, flights, and growler fills. The Scratch series is always a hit, always something new to try. Great selection of bottles and lots of other goodies in the store. Great brewery, great guys, and great beer!

I went to Troegs with several of my buddies (but not Harry) on a Saturday afternoon in March. We got in at around 2 and the place was already packed. The parking lot was pretty big, but we had to park on the grass. You walk in to a beer hall-like setting with a bar spanning one entire wall and the rest of the room filled with long (20+ person) tables and a few smaller tables. They have all of their year round and current seasonals on tap, as well as one or two scratch beers at any given time. They offer full pours, tasters, and growler fills to go. The gift shop offers all of their current lineup to go in six packs, including the scratch beers. As far as I know, this is the only place to get the scratch beers in bottles. The pour sizes are generous and pricing is very reasonable (I was drinking 20oz. Nugget Nectars for ~$5). They have a limited menu of deli sandwiches and snacks, but we were not there for the food. There is a self-guided brewery tour which is basically a few hallways with glass walls so you can look in and see the brewing process. We all enjoyed this as it gave us a chance to walk around and get our of the crowded bar area. They encourage taking your beer along on the tour. It was nothing special but it did give a decent description of what you were looking at via posters and visuals. The barrel aging area was pretty cool (although I have never seen a barrel aged Troegs beer?). The bar area got pretty crowded by mid-afternoon and it got diffficult to fight your way in to get a beer. Overall, a very good way to spend a Saturday afternoon with some great beers at a reasonable price. The atmosphere was friendly and everyone was there to enjoy delicious beer. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by, but I wouldn't travel hours to go there.
