Got to had it to troeg on this one. This one was strictly sold to me on cover art when I wanted the Southern Tier Creme Brulee.

A - Hazelnut color and dark.
S - Kind of pick up on Coffee and vanilla.
T - Mostly coffee and hopps. Kind of thin and unexpectedly well covered for a 7% ABV beer.
M - A bit creamy but mostly bite from the coffee and hops.
D - Had to edit my review since it's now in 12oz forum +1 for drink-ability.

Overall I hate beer markups. This no impart reflects the score of the beer but Bocktown sold me this bomber for 10.00 at 25 percent off with tax. At about 7.25 it is an ok beer but when I saw it for 5.50 at my local beer place I was pissed.

Hard pour from a 12 oz bottle after I gave it a little shake

A: Nice, blackish-brown color almost opaque with a creamy head that faded fairly quickly

S: Bittersweet chocolate, slightly earthy- the coffee scent is fairly subdued

T:Earthy, spicy, slightly bittersweet in between a chocolate stout and a milk stout

M: Very smooth, moderate carbonation, not to filling

O: Very good, The actual coffee taste was well balanced, not overly bitter
