12oz brown bottle with a freshness date.
Yeast was swirled in, cloudy brew now and the lacing is pretty epic. Banana bread ... no, taffy with some breadiness with dusty clove and nutty yeast in the nose. Very very smooth with a crisp refreshing bite, malty with a mellow breadiness. Herbal phenols push against the ripe fruit, clove tries to push the yeast out of the way. Flavors may run up against each other but nothing clashes. The phenols and a mild tartness do pull this beer away from the extreme drinkability this style can garner. Semi-dry finish.
Still able it quaff it back though the amount is hindered for me somewhat.

12oz into a wheat beer glass.
A: Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a spongy white head.
S: Cloves, crisp wheat, vanilla, bready, hint of banana.
T: Taste brings a mix of crisp malt breadiness and pleasant esters. Mild banana and cloves, lightly tart, fresh grain, restrained bready sweetness.
M: Light-bodied with crisp carbonation.
O: An enjoyable and relatively mild hefeweizen, not quite as flavorful as more authentic examples but quaffable nonetheless.

Had a few pints at the new Troeg brewery and dreamweaver was one of them.
Though I.m not a 100% wheat beer fan I do like an occasional glass every now and again.
Out of all the wheat beers I've had through the years dreamweaver would be placed towards the bottom, just not impressed.
The beer had a super tall, fluffy yet dense head sittingon top of a cloudy unfiltered golden yellow beer. It looks good.
Aroma had a nice and refreshing wheat malt aroma. Yeasty esters gave off a slight banana smell. Standard wheat beer aromas, yes, mind you, but very light and soft.
Taste was bland and boring and actually almost tasteless. You tasted the wheat malts and hints of clove but nowhere near what I might expect from a beer that gets this much acclaim.
Falls in the middle of American junk wheat beers, which by the way are gross, and a desent German wheat.

Pours a clear light gold into a tulip glass
A: Clear and light gold. No chill haze
S: Wheat, fruit, slight banana, slight clove
T: Wheat hits you first followed by a subtle fruitiness
M: Light bodied and refreshing. Very clean
O: A good example of an American Wheat. Clean, refreshing and light. The wheat flavor dominates with subtle hints of banana and clove. I will buy again.
