So this is amber? Pours more like a IPA with hazy straw colored body with only a hint of amber tone. Head is half a finger of off white skim. Nose is bursting with lots of woodsy, citrus base hops. Still more like an IPA. Very crisp and clean as it hits the tongue. Middle of the palate shows strong hop presence but even and not overpowering. A noticeable and welcome nuttie mineral feel developes tword the end of the palate. Mouthfeel is a well balanced mix of hops and rugged minerals. A great summer beer, easy to drink. Very out of catagory for the style, though good.
