12 oz bottle. Clear, old gold color. White head lookis inviting, fading to a thin layer after a minute or two. A few nice spots of lace.

Clean cereal malts, with a slight breast feel. Hop aroma is subtle, slight juicy fruit with a bit of earthyness.

Malt character is very nice here, again cereal grains with some bread. A subtle fruity note with bubblegum. Earthy finish. Bitterness is fairly soft but does linger a bit.

Body is a bit lighter, with nice carbonation. Very well balanced here. Alcohol is not evident. Nice beer, and easy drinker.

A: The beer is clear golden yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high off white head that gradually died down but never completely faded away.
S: There are light aromas of grassy and earthy hops in the nose along with some hints of grainy malts.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and also has a light amount of bitterness and some hints of fruity yeast.
M: It feels a bit shy of medium-bodied and a little clean and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a nice easy beer to drink. I would definitely agree with this on being a lawn mower beer.

Appearance is golden with a fluffy white head and nice lacing.

Nose is light hops with soil and salted peanuts.

Taste is light, butery, toasty, with some nuttiness and cucumber water.

Mouthfeel is very refreshing with a good amount of carbonation.

Overall, it is refreshing but lacks enough body to give the flavors any real substance.

A: Clear, golden, very slight head, does not appear to be very carbonated, and so clear I doubt it is dry hopped. Nice lacing down the glass though.

S: Hmm, a bit cidery, slight lemon, and bready malts.

T: The taste has a lot more hop character than the aroma. Again, very lemony hops (Sorachi?), bitter pine, with a light pilsner-type bready finish. Sessionable.

M: Medium-light mouthfeel which helps the drinkability factor here. Sort of light on carbonation.

O: Tasty, and definitely a nice summer beer. I remember having this last year and thought it was better - but I just noticed that this bottle is about 4 months old, so may have lost some of its hop character. I'll bump it up a bit because I don't want to dock it for age.

Poured from a bottle...

Appearance is a medium yellow. Inch or so creamy head with lacing that lasts throughout...

Aroma - Citrusy and floral - hints of lemon and bread.

Taste - slight hop start and then goes a little metallic. Pepper towards the end...

Mouthfeel - a bit watery...

Overall - I'm not really getting the "ultra" part of this other than the watery mouthfeel connection to Mich Ultra....
The aroma and appearance save this from being a below average beer....Not a bad session beer for the hotter months....

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a standard pint glass. "3/23/12" date of birth on label.
Clear yellow/light gold in color, with a short, bright white head of foam.
Aroma-Faint pilsner malt
Taste-Pale malt, unsalted cracker. Soft little hop bite comes around and lingers to the finish. Easy-drinking and refreshing, but tastes more like a pilsner by far, than an American pale ale.

Pours a deep gold with faint hints of amber. Little to no head or lacing. Aroma was fruity and citrusy, a nice blend. I've always said that it would be nice to find something like Sierra Nevada with just a bit less edge and every so slightly sweeter. I think this is it. The citra hops are a nice blend of citrus and floral taste. This is very drinkable and easy on the palate. Very well done. Now a new glass and see if the next one has a better head.

Pours a golden yellow with a thick white head that fades fast. Subtle aroma, with malt, hops, and grain notes. The flavor is subtle but good, starts and ends with the hops and the grain mixed in. A subtle sweet earthy finish with a hint of citrus that really rounds this one out nicely. A nice medium mouthfeel, thicker than expected but definitely adds to the beer. Overall a great summer beer, well done, the flavors are subtle but still big. Would work as a great session beer, would get this again.
