Aroma: Strong pine up front. Lemon rind notes persist. Light bready malt character that is subdued. Clean fermentation character.
Appearance: Cloudy amber pour with hazy gold edges. Moderate white foam stand.
Flavor: More pine and lemon notes. Biscuity and doughy malt background. Balance is nearly even but the bitterness starts to dominate as the beer warms up. Finish is clean and dry.
Mouthfeel: Medium light bodied with moderately high carbonation. Slightly oily with no heat or astringency noted.
Overall impression: A clean, hoppy pale ale with an accent on pine and lemon notes. Well done.
