A - A dark brown/light black with a touch of head and no lace left on the glass

S - Burnt oats and maybe old chocolate. Nothing dominant.

T - Taste is much better than expected. Lots of chocolate, slightly sweet, nice malt/hop mix. Well balanced. Tasty! Smooth

M - Medium bodied and light carbonation.

O - A good porter for sure. Not one to go out of your way of, but good none the less

Color is a very dark red to nearly black, with very little lacing. Coffee and cocoa scents are noticeable and pleasant, but on the weak side. The taste is rather average - mild roasted malt flavors, with hints of coffee and cocoa. These flavors just seem muted and weak. The mouthfeel is akin to a flat cola - very thin and lightly carbonated. No body at all. I would not buy this again, nor recommend it.

12oz bottle into a Duvel tulip.

A: Clear dark brown body under an inche of fine tan head. Pretty good retention, light lace. Not bad at all.

S: Toasty malt, chocolate, and some stale coffee. A little spicy. Not bad, but no better than average for the style.

T: Roasty up front, with coffee and char giving way to creamy dark chocolate and a bitter, slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable, but not great.

M :Creamy, frothy medium body. Good.

O: Decent Porter. I enjoyed a couple more from the six-pack, but won't be buying it again.

Cheers!

Dark brown pour with 2 fingers of chocolate laced head. No lace, bit excellent head retention.

Nose is loads of chocolate with bread malt underneath. Draws me in.

Lighter chocolate in flavor, leaning towards coffee. Nice malt presence as well. Medium bitters in the finish.

Medium body. Not too thick, not too thin.

An easy drinking sweet porter.

Thanks to BrandonBrew for this one

App- A really nice dark brown pour with a bit of a reddish tinge. The small head was maybe 1/2" and tan. A few dots of cling. Very dense in the glass but not creamy.

Smell- A pretty straightforward porter. Has a good malt base with a full nose of chocolate, roast, espresso and what I would say is a bit of a caramel/bbq meat aroma.

Taste- Im digging on this. So its not a chocolate porter but more a blend of a rauchbier with a porter. Big malts. A little smoky, a little coffee and some chocolate vs. gone overboard.

Mouth- A lighter medium body with a medium carbonation. A bit prickly with a malt base residual and a bit of roasty/bbq.

Drink- Its a tasty porter. More of a blend vs. what I normally think of a porter. More malts, little sweet with a little campfire smoky graham cracker thing. Not what I seek out. This was an extra and very tasty.
