A - Ruby body, white head has good retention and good lacing.
S/T - Roasty sweet malt, bready, nutty, touch of earthy hops in the finish to balance.
M - Medium body, medium carbonation, smooth, finishes clean.
O - Nicely rounded and balanced. Went very well with BBQ.

Picked this up at a Publix in Maryville, TN, BBD of mid-june 2013
Pours amber/cooper with a pinky of cream colored head. Good head retention & lacing
S: Toastyness & nuttyness
T: Toastyness, some nuttyness & a touch of dryness up front. Slight astringency mixes with a bit of caramel, dryness & toastyness as this warms & a tinge of sulphur. Finishes nutty, toasty & slightly grainy & a bit roasty
MF: Medium bodied, fairly firm carbonation
A fairly drinkable English brown, would take this over New Castle brown any day

Pours a clear reddish brown with a thin tan collar. Aromas of lightly roasted coffee. The flavor is coffee again up front, followed by some toasted bread, then a nice anise flavor, finishing with leafy, earthy hops. Mouthfeel is rich. Overall a tasty brown ale I would purchase again.

Pours a big light tan head that settles into a nice light creamy lacing above a clear reddish amber colored beer.
A rich dark roasted caramel malt aroma that brings with it some black licorice, dark fruits(apricots), molasses and nuttiness.
Dark roasted malts with some cocoa hints taste that seem to lose a lot of the molasses, licorice, and nuttiness of the aroma.
A dry aftertaste that harbors the dark roasted malt taste on this medium to almost full bodied beer.
A pretty decent nut brown, drinks real easy like.
