What an incredibly solid little Brown from a local brewery....I must freely admit I have passed over this beer many many times but I knew someone was buying it because it would appear and disappear...appear and disappear....
My turn to give it a go.
A warm chestnut brown appearance gives way to aromas of toasted malt, hints of cocoa, perhaps a little caramel...
Smooth and super easy drinking....one of those beers that isn't too heavy but still has plenty of flavor to keep things interesting...I could drink quite a few of these with some fish and chips or maybe a pot pie...
Delightful find for me! I will be buying more of this...

Nut Brown Ale from Blackstone. 12 oz bottle. Stored at 34 degrees at home. Received from @Whyteboar in NBW BIF #16. Reviewed 01/02/23 (Review 3127). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Printed on bottle shoulder but blurry “BEST BY 3/9/??”. Served at 54.3 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature was 57.3 degrees.
Appearance – 3.5
First pour – Medium Amber (SRM 12), clear.
Body – Amber Brown (SRM 18), opaque. Under direct light, opaque brown with noticeable near-microscopic precipitates. When rear lite, amber and translucent.
Head – Average (Maximum three cm, aggressive center pour), beige, high density, short retention, quickly receding to an undulating 0.3 cm crown fed by carbonation, and a thin partial cap.
Lacing – None.
Aroma – 3.5 – Moderate toasted malt. No hops, no yeast. A slight charred aroma appears as the glass warms.
Flavor – 3.5 – Toasted malt, slightly bitter from hops. No ethanol (5.6 % ABV as marked on label) aroma or taste. No gastric warming occurs. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. Ends with a bit of nuttiness.
Palate – 3 – Thin side of medium, watery, lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.5 A decent brown ale, not extreme in any dimension, just mild and tasty.

From a bottle from Drew in Nashville. A Coca-Cola colored beer with nice lacing. This is a roasty brown with the malt you would expect, but the smokiness keeps it from being too sweet.

Poured from growler Deep red Amber in color, with thin lacing and not overly carbonated. Medium on the pallet with earthy toffee malts. Very smooth and easy to drink. Enjoyable!

Has a really bad copper taste and over carbonated. Not a good beer.
