Special brew for a recent wedding reception at the Tap House I think was what the bartender told me. An American Pale Ale brewed with Citra hops.

Pours golden-amber in color, topped with a frothy off-white head, that holds good retention, and leaves excellent sticky lacing down the glass. Aromas aren't as bright as I'd hoped, but there's some citrus, caramely malt, and some tropical notes from the Citra hops. Tastes are nice and bold, fruity, juicy, tropical, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, caramel, and honey, with a pungent, piny finish. Sticky hop resins coat the palate with the piny bitterness; nice balance of sweetness, lighter bodied, mellow carbonation. Overall, I was hoping for the brightness of the Citra hops to come through a little more, especially in the aroma, but still a nice surprise to find on tap as a one-off.
