look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4
Appearance: Excellent! Thick golden amber and light overall. Nice slow carbonation and yeast particles suspended in the glass. This definitely impresses me.
Smell: Kind of one note. Fortunately, that one note consists of strong, fresh pine hops. It seems this beer only can do one thing, but it does it well.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Excellent mouthfeel and flavor. Initially I get some active bubbly carbonation that turns smooth and velvety at the end. This mouthfeel does well in complimented the bitterness of the pine hops that definitely dominates the flavor.
Drinkability: I would rate this higher but this level of hops might be hard to keep up with.
Overall: A top-notch pale ale.

Pours an amber orange with a finger of creamy off white head. Good retention and lacing.
Aroma is very faint and mild with slight malt sweetness and faint earthy hops.
Flavor is biscuit and bread with a slight earth hop characteristic. Very mild overall.
Mouthfeel is mild yet light and creamy.
Overall this is a decent beer but is rather bland overall.

look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.5
Poured into a pint glass from a 12oz bottle.
Pours a slightly clear and translucent strong copper color with some gold edges. There is a nice dense egg shell white head that forms that is about 1 inch tall. The head is quite sticky and has great retention. Seemingly holding on for dear life while leaving some nice lacing.
Aroma of bread and pale malts dominate the forefront. There is a nice slight grassy and citrus hop element to the middle of the brew. After which a nice earthy grain note comes back to balance that aroma out. There is some slight caramel sweetness mixed in there but mostly there is that nice clean and bready malt flavor.
Flavor is typical to more traditional APAs. Bready, biscuity malt notes start things of while a quick punch of citrus hops comes up to balance the sweetness. The hops are quite subdued and don't take center stage but in fact help to bring balance and completeness to the brew and the more malty and earthy bread notes. The nice sharp citrus notes and bitterness play very well with the malt sweetness and there is a nice creamy yet light body to the brew.
Pretty standard and good APA. Nice balance of flavors and well-crafted.
