A-Translucent amber, some carbonation, two finger head

S-Wheat, caramel, not much else, mainly malty in the nose.

T-Sweet malt, very heavy on the malt, caramel and toffee. Apples, fruits some candied sugar.

M-Light with some carbonation.

O-A style I think is underrated a solid brew, not great. But gotta give props to people who brew Biere de Gardes.

This beer has a definite sweet caramel aroma with a biscuit, toasty component to it. Like a rich amber really.

This is quite a rich, malty beer. Definitely get the caramel notes in there as well as some toffee. Some fruity sweetness also peeks through. The notes of biscuit are present but somewhat subdued compared to expectations. Finishes with barely anything in the way of hops, just a twinge, but is still fairly clean. Pretty tasty stuff actually.

I'm not sure what separates this style from an amber ale but it seemed to have a lot in common. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
