I'm glad to see Flying Dog products back on the shelves around here. They're now available in cans too!

Pours a bright gold with a huge frothy head into my glass. Ample carbonation. Must be fresh as it wasn't in the cooler last week.

Crisp, sweet and much like fresh baked bread. No surprises there!

A smorgasboard of flavors pelt the tongue. I pick up a lot of baked bread and the crispness is a marvel to behold.

Leaves a strong baked bread impression at the back of the throat. I think the carbonation could be dialed back a bit. Though it's taboo on here, I do get a nice hop belch after a gulp.

I could see myself buying it more often if the price was lower and/or it was available in 12 packs. It would make an excellent hot day/lawnmower beer.

Appearance: Very bubbly, yellow/golden, clear. Pours a minimal head.

Aroma: Refreshing hops, grass, hint of caramel malt.

Taste: Surprisingly malty, with some honey-like sweetness and a hoppy finish with a hint of citrus.

Mouthfeel: Plain, mostly bubbles. Medium body, moderate to high carbonation.

Overall: Decent lager, but nothing outstanding.

A - Pours a pale golden colour, finger of head with little retention and some sporadic lacing.

S - Grainy malts, hint of grassy hops and citrus rind, hints of sweet corn and faint bready notes on the finish.

T - Mild citrus hop notes, hint of apple juice, sweet caramel, grassy hop notes and a bready malt and toasted cracker finish.

M - Medium bodied, smooth and wet.

O - Easy drinking pale ale, lightly hopped, and incredibly well balanced. I could drink this stuff all day and a 6-er wouldn't stand a chance!

The beer pours a hazy, pale straw color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a light and refreshing, pilsner malt scent along with a touch of hops and a dry, fruity lager yeast aroma. The taste is good as well. It has a smooth pilsner malt flavor that goes down real easy and finishes dry with some German hops in the finish. It's an easy drinker with excellent malt flavor unlike the fizzy macro lagers. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a very enjoyable American lager. There are no frills, just a tasty beer, perfect for any occasion.
