Cloudy yellow-golden, with a huge and overpowering head of creamy white bubbles. Impressive and ornate lace, too.
Nose is spicy and fruity. A promising and delicious beginning!
Body seems light, but the flavor is strong. I get a floral hoppy, funky sour mix...fruit, yeast, and spice. A seriously delicious mix.
Maybe one of Flying Dog's finest achievements I've had yet.

Served in a bottle at Pilsener Haus in Hoboken, NJ
A: Pours a relatively clear medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some bright yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall sudsy/foamy white head that slowly reduces to a medium sized medium thick patch, a thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer, and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of spices, Belgian yeast, grassy hops, and pale malts.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of pale malts with moderate flavors of Belgian yeast. There is also a moderate to strong presence of spices (pepper stands out) and grassy/herbal hops. A light amount of bitterness is present.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with heavy amounts of carbonation. Very dry.
O: I really enjoyed the hybrid saison/Belgian IPA style and found it quite easy to drink - as the alcohol is very well hidden. Refreshing.

Pours a big white head, good retention. Straw colored beer, somewhat cloudy.
Clove and pepper, and some more piney hop aroma. Citrus - maybe a tart orange. More farmhouse than IPA in aroma.
Short lived malt sweetness up front, then a tart and eventually hoppy flavor tends to dominate. A bit of a pepper flavor. Hop bitterness is assertive but not overpowering, and some of the tartness carries into the finish with the bitterness. Flavor is a bit thin for an IPA.
Medium body and moderately high carbonation. Body somewhat thin for an IPA. Alcohol warming is present but not overpowering.
Overall the flavors didn't meld nicely for me, with the tartness the most disagreeable element.

Pours golden amber with an off-white head that descends to a lasting cover. Lacing slides down glass with some sticking.
The smell is tart/sour with herbal-seasoned bread crumbs. Some citric zest comes through.
The taste is zesty/spicy - some lemon/lime. There is a sweet caramel undertone with a touch of tart/sour leading to a dry, bitterish finish.
It has a medium body with medium carbonation. Alcohol is well-integrated. Some malty smoothness is there.
It has an interesting character, though I don't know that it all blends in together to make this an excellent brew. Still, it has "farmhouse" qualities. Not sure about the IPA part, though it is relatively hoppy. Overall, not great, but decent enough. I prefer the Raging Bitch - but, that's just my opinion.
