Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz. bottle into a Russian River pint glass.
A: Pours a nice gold with just a slight haze. Forms a big fluffy white head atop medium visible carbonation.
S: Belgian fruity esters (grape, pear, banana) with light cracker malt, some funk, and only hints of grassy hops.
T: The Belgian characteristics dominate the palate. Light malts, sweet fruity yeast esters with some citrus hops near the end. Mild pine bitterness in the hang.
M: Light body, moderate alcohol presence, and a healthy dose of carbonation sensation.
O: I'm torn here. It seems to be a pretty decent Belgian pale ale, but doesn't follow through on the promise of the IPA character. Not bad though.

355 ml bottle, from a an archeological excavation in my beer "cellar", as Flying Dog Wildeman Farmhouse IPA. BB date 24.05.2014. From Vinmonopolet. ABV is 7.5%. Deep golden colour, huge white head. Pleasant aroma of ripe and over-ripe fruits and berries, also notes of farmhouse. Flavour slightly on the sweet side, good maltiness, noticeable hops but fairly moderate for an IPA.
