Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Well, he certainly looks pretty wild... Anyway, this stuff pours a hazy sunrise gold topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises lemon peel, light grapefruit zest, light orange peel, mild flowers, light dried honey, and a vague sense of bready Belgian yeast. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a sharp vein of grapefruit peel running through, stabbing the tongue from time to time. But not necessarily in a bad way. Most of the time, anyway. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a decidedly dry finish. Overall, a tasty and enjoyable BIPA, even if the Belgian aspect is somewhat on the lighter end of the spectrum. Good times.

355 ml bottle, from a an archeological excavation in my beer "cellar", as Flying Dog Wildeman Farmhouse IPA. BB date 24.05.2014. From Vinmonopolet. ABV is 7.5%. Deep golden colour, huge white head. Pleasant aroma of ripe and over-ripe fruits and berries, also notes of farmhouse. Flavour slightly on the sweet side, good maltiness, noticeable hops but fairly moderate for an IPA.
