Poured into a Due South Brewing Co. snifter. No readable freshness date.
A- Pours a slightly hazy medium amber color with a 1/2 inch white head that doesn't retain long before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and minimal surface foam. Frosty ring of lacing sticks to the glass well.
S- Great sweet/spice hybrid with some mildly citrusy hops tying everything together. Notes of grapefruit, orange and a bit of clove.
T- Bright hop bitterness with equally bright juicy flavors and Belgian yeast. Certainly nothing farmhouse-like about it since it's mainly spice and hop driven leading to a flavor that's more fruity than funky. Very similar to Raging Bitch.
M- Sharp and tangy with medium carbonation and a lightish body.
O- Very good, but I could've sworn that this exact beer already exists and it's called Raging Bitch. Luckily for Flying Dog, I'm not docking points for that and mislabeling it "Farmhouse." I'm sure they care.

355 ml bottle, from a an archeological excavation in my beer "cellar", as Flying Dog Wildeman Farmhouse IPA. BB date 24.05.2014. From Vinmonopolet. ABV is 7.5%. Deep golden colour, huge white head. Pleasant aroma of ripe and over-ripe fruits and berries, also notes of farmhouse. Flavour slightly on the sweet side, good maltiness, noticeable hops but fairly moderate for an IPA.
