12oz bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance
Golden orange with 1 finger of head that dissipates quickly. Good clarity with low carbonation.
Nose
Mango, papaya, dank greens, tangerine and candy sugar. Has just a touch of cat piss.
Taste
Musty dank greenery, wintergreen gum and pine. Lighter notes of tangerine, mango and papaya. Thin candy sugar maltiness with notes of lightly toasted bread. Finishes with a lot of resin lingering on. Picks up hints of onion.
Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, oily, smooth and dry.
Overall
A great hop perhaps best used with other varieties. It tends to get pretty resinous by itself. Overall, this is still a well executed beer.

The smell is what I like most about this imperial ipa. Nice and hoppy and floral, which I love. Appearance is golden honey. Taste is full-bodied and slightly piney. Mouth is smooth with medium carbonation. Finishes bitter and dry, yet somehow sweet. A complex beer worth checking out for yourself.
