Been without an internet connection for a few days so this review is from notes. Poured from a 12oz bottle into a 20oz pint glass. Hoping to obtain some nice glassware in the near future. Artfully done label. Firm pour elicits a one finger head off white in color. Head fades quickly to a minimal skim, leaving no laceing to write home about. Color is a light to medium amber with no sediment.
Nose- almost a non-factor, light yeast, no characteristic bananna or bubble gum esters. However there is the faintest hint of hops and the presence of alcohol.
Taste- tastes unlike any triple that I have had before. Almost a lagered taste. Minimal carbonation, almost flat. Lite sweetness, hints of sour lemon peel very faint notion of hop bitterness. Booze comes through, long dry finish.
Drinkability- Mildly quaffable.
Mouthfeel- thin and confused.
Not Americas proudest represntation of a Tripel.

Tasting at the brewery from their first Throw Back Thursday pilot batch, where they bring back retired beers for tasting/growlers, and a pour from a 64 oz. growler into a HS Teku
A: Golden straw color with a minimal head.
S: Classic Belgian yeast and bread notes.
T: Interesting honey notes and bit of spice to it. Damn decent tripel, that is a solid take on the style.
M: Nice bit of carbonation that is a bit foamy.
O: I don't know how the old mass production batch was like, but this was good as a pilot batch.
