Pours a very pale, golden-yellow color with a moderate haze throughout. Small, wispy head that vanishes quickly, no lacing to speak of. The smell is very crisp and refreshing, full of biscuity wheat and fruity esters. The taste hits with a big dose of carbonation on the tongue, followed by apples and apple skins, a bit of esters, and a solid wheat background. The flavor is very sweet, light, and refreshing. A hint of clove can be detected if you're really searching for it, but it isn't as powerful as in other hefes. Lots of carbonation with an overall thin body leaves a dry finish.
Overall, a decent beer. Crisp, refreshing, and very easy to drink. Nothing to write home about, but worth a try, and definitely session-able.

355 ml bottle, as Flying Dog In-Heat Wheat Hfeweizen, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Also available in some Norwegian grocery stores. Hazy pale golden colour, big white head. Typical hefeweizen aroma of ripe bananas and cloves. The flavour also has notes of ripe bananas and cloves, medium sweet, soft mouthfeel, very drinkable, low bitterness. A good hefeweizen - no more, no less.

12 oz bottle. Hazy yellow, medium frothy white head. Aroma is as expected; banana, clove, spices, wheat. Light to medium body, some spice and sweetness initially.
